He opts to punch when he should catch, does not dominate his area and lets in too many free kicks from outside the penalty area for my liking. If he is injured, he needs a rest to get on top of his game, his confidence and recovery.
Not Premier League standard I am afraid, so needs to move on and enjoy a career in the lower leagues like many other of our ex-academy players are doing.
Manager had little choice than to pay the team he did. The game highlighted the fact that some of the who played last night are not good enough. Gardos and Stephens lacked understanding and the former had not played at this level for some time. Isgrove and Reed are not up to this standard and PEH seemed so slow and his shooting capability and that of Clasie is appalling. Some lessons will be learned from this and some players may benefit but we must move on.
Fantastic. Natathan Redmond ran them ragged in first half to provide those three chances for Tadic and Davis(x2).Great to see Jack Stephens come in and play so cool.
However, the glory days are beginning to come to and end. DT reported in the week that subscriptions to Sky are down 13% over the last 12 months and 25% since 2010. They put this down to the Live Streaming on PC's and he Cody Boxes which are available now.
The FA and the Premier League do not pass down enough imho whilst many of us donate regularly to many different charities from taxed income nothing like a present day footballer earns.
As to my User name, think Del Boy and the bracelet present and you will probably guess the reason.
Soft spot for my Home Town Club and played on the old Stadium ground many times. I used to catch tadpoles as a kid at the Tatnam Ground so the club must have spent a great deal already, even to get it up to current standard. Perhaps the Cherries could help them out just as we helped them a few years ago.
