There are plenty of people who haven't been involved with the club for a long time that get brought up, Ron Davies being one. Should we not mention him any more or is it only certain people we can/cannot mention?

His posting style wasn't great and some of his comments were a bit full on, but he did post some interesting stuff.

Because people are interested and there comes the question of freedom of speech. Be honest wouldn't you rather read posts from people who seems to know stuff? I know Lefback had a strong anti Cortese agenda but then his reasons for that were interesting (or would have been if we had got to the bottom of them). Obviously if he is saying stuff that could cause legal problems that is an issue, but over the years this site has been home to plenty of slander and abuse, but to club officials, managers and players along with each other!

I see, thank you. If what someone says is factual though is that classed as libel? And where do we draw the line with slander?

Can you actually tell us why he was banned though?

I liked Leftbacks posts as they actually seem to contain rather a lot of facts which is something that has been sadly lacking on here for years. I am a bit miffed that he has been banned for doing no more than others have been doing for years against other CEOs. And for the record I understand that Leftback was anti Lowe too.

We can't afford to fall off the pace and we seem to be getting by rather than taking games by storm. A few loans would have been nice but it didn't happen so we just have to pray that we can keep things ticking over until January.

Lowe was the obvious choice because he got so much vitriolic flak for so long. But if you like I shall add Wilde, Crouch, Hone and Hoos too. Better? Lowe had few if any supporters. Cortese has quite a few, despite sacking Pardew. These people are not irrelevant to this debate. Previous CEOs get slandered and no one gets banned. This one does and someone gets banned. Link. Like it or not matey. Go back and count how many times Lowe is in the first line of my posts. If my posts irritate you so much, dont read them. Simples.

If he had been posting anti Lowe agenda a few years ago would anyone have banned him? Whatever you think of his spin, he did seem to have some genuine facts which is more than most of us on here have.

Anyone who scores over 30 goals a season in the top flight is worth a mint so Big Ron would be right up their with the Drogbas. Paine was one of the best wingers of his time so also worth wedge. Channon was priceless. Williams would be top flight too.
