I have no problem if West Ham win tonight as I can then look forward to one of those games that will stick in our memories for ever. I would not swap Delhurst, Everton home (pahars double) Walsall last season & the Wimbledon 0-0 (while man city played out a draw with Bally) That's what football is all about with the high emotions and tears.

If we get promoted will we have bus tour around city?

Maybe we can invite our friends and have a joint one, im sure they will be up for the relegation party! -
Coventry to be below par because we have given them two juicy loanees Prowse-Ward & Stephens for next season. Ha ha why not as the Boro ref was corrupted too. Part of me wants a West Ham win on Monday so it will make the game Saturday amazing.

I got the impression that a great business man will always look at ways to raise his companies profits in the long term? Larger stadium, more people, more merchandise sold, better players attracted etc. Yeah why not? I remember last season he said we will go up as champions, I laughed as I thought he was mad.

Some great replies on this thread plus reasonable players listed. I like to think that Cortese could have a trump card in getting an Italian superstar to the club, someone to get us supporters very excited about. I reckon we will slap a 5m for Hooper & 3m for the Leicester keeper as they will judge him on his performances vs us.

Things you are willing to sacrifice - just to be there

I'm getting married the moment we play Coventry, I have planned for my best man to give the bride a note the moment she walks down the isle. My Note: Hello my dearest pumpkin, sorry I can't make it for the wedding as I will be watching my true love gain promotion. I know you will understand this as we can get married any other day. Yours truly Pilchards. -
Why don't you earn some real money like the rest of us....C O C K

Of course they enjoyed it but some 20k supporters never saw them unless you watched the video afterwards. One of the best screensavers I have is the johnstones paint one with the players celebrating at Wembley, I would love to have one of the players lifting the trophy at St Mary's.

I feel sorry for the players that want to do a lap of honour with there love ones, instead of having to stand on seats high in the stands struggling to soak up a pitch invasion. If we clinch the championship vs Coventry I would want it on the pitch right in front of 31k people and not see jack Schmitt like last season.

I suppose for a special night we can hope for a Bristol City win 3-0 and a Saints thumping over P'boro 4-0. That will give us a 10 goal lead and 6 points clear with 2 games left. Yeah dream on Pilchards.

Vote Matt Le Tiss - Greatest ever Premier League goal

But if you ask MLT which one he preferred then he would say Blackburn, he admitted to not hitting it properly but IMHO that's what makes it special as he made Hooper look stupid with the side foot. Can't believe Niemi & Blayney are not in the saves section as some of those chosen have nothing on our two. -
To summon the ticket office up I phoned them Friday morning to ask when the ticket office would be open Saturday morning, the lady said 'Well if it's a match day then it's....[pause] I said we had a game tonight against Reading so it won't be a match day tomorrow, did you not know we had a game tonight then? she replied 'No I didn't know that.' After getting me the opening times, I asked her what she thought the score would be tonight, Oh I don't know, I have no idea..... Blimey and you expect someone to tell you whether tickets are sold out yet if she has no idea what the bloody club is doing in the first place.

Should Brighton be investigated for Saturdays game ?

I thought something was fishy when I saw this photo after the own goal was scored. -
Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .

So West Ham have not won a home game during the week since 2005? Wow that's a hard nut to crack for them! -
Why is it such a hoodoo being live on the box? For anyone watching Saints on the TV will wonder how we are 2nd in the league with the amount of failures we have. I have no idea why the players choke on the TV and it does worry me that the Middlesbrough game is live too? We need to solve this issue because in the Premiership we will be live every 5 games. The solutions? Ban Sky? Install camera's around the pitch when they are training? Put mirrors in front of the camera's so they can't see them?

Blimey I have read some utter nonsense this early morning, too many supporters have given up with the Saints now and I find it staggering they are not going to the Peterboro game If West Ham win? Overall we need just 6 points (maybe less) to get over the line and the way we battered Reading last night suggests that the players will get promoted. It's been the most amazing season so far and we have a great chance of going up with the blue few getting relegated. COYR......

Thats given me idea, I will phone up the Westwood bookshop at the end of the season and ask for a couple of books called '2 back 2 backs promotions.' & 'The slippery slope to blue square.'

Last team to win the Championship after promotion from League One

What about the quickest a team has dropped in 2 years? -
I believe you need to build on the engine of the team. Davis Jos Fonte Fox Lallana Cork Lambert Spider These are starters so I would say Clyne - right back Ambrose - Ball winner nippy winger no 1 nippy winger no 2 and Hooper from Celtic. and a brick house Centre Back. 6 player in like Swansea and Norwich did.
