  1. Double negatives often to be found in TV soaps: "I ain't done nothing"
  2. Good to see that our wonderful new blue British Passports are produced by a German/Dutch company who print them in Poland. https://newsthump.com/2020/02/24/all-jingoistic-****-will-now-be-manufactured-in-poland-admits-government/
  3. I'd vote for that.
  4. No. Too old. Too injury-prone. Big wages.
  5. Way better than Dele Ali in the game last night.
  6. His parents ran the Chemists at the top of Hill Lane/Burgess Road.
  7. Shame. There's a decent player behind that bad attitude. Pity that Ralph couldn't find it.
  8. No, Rebecca Long-Bailey is Dominic Cummings in a wig. Or are they the same person? Have they ever been seen in the same place?
  9. 70% of voters whose educational attainment is only GCSE or lower voted to Leave, while 68% of voters with a university degree voted to Remain in the EU. (YouGov)
  10. Make sure it not the one that Boris had: https://newsthump.com/2020/01/31/boris-johnson-to-spend-day-masturbating-into-got-brexit-done-tea-towel/
  11. A little quiz for the Brexiteers: https://www.thedailymash.co.uk/politics/does-waving-a-little-flag-give-you-an-erection-20200130192979 https://newsthump.com/2020/01/30/freudian-scenes-as-nigel-farage-waves-tiny-limp-flag-around-before-being-told-to-put-it-away/
  12. In the election campaign, the Tories were calling nationalisation "marxist nonsense".
  13. Neil Ruddock and Craig Short
  14. If you can tolerate visiting Portsmuff, Novatech are very good and are happy to give good advice.
  15. The problem is, if the ball is being played from deep on his side of the pitch, the linesman will have to turn his head nearly 90 degrees to see the exact moment when the ball is struck. Therefore he cannot see if a player standing in front of him is offside at that precise moment.
  16. In the 50's it was the same team home and away on Christmas day and then Boxing day.
  17. I don't want an "experience". I just want to turn up, watch a (hopefully) decent game, have a natter and a laugh with the people around me and go home. I don't need anything else. Clean toilets are nice but that's about it.
  18. The Facebook account has been deleted and the Leeds hospital has confirmed that the original story was completely accurate.
  19. Low tax? But they've said they're going to put billions into the NHS and recruit 20000 police officers to make up for the ones they got rid of. How will this be paid for? Defence? UK armed forces numbers have fallen for the 9th year in succession. Immigration? They're always had control over non-EU immigration but the numbers have increased over the last 5 years. Crime? Violent crime up by 19% in the last year. Do you think that you are being misled?
  20. Didn't watch the Saints game because I was at the match but I liked the longer interview with Ralph after the match and the ability to select the player interviews or the full replay or just highlights. Quality was good via my Virgin V6 box but mustn't forget to cancel my free trial at the end of the month.
  21. Snowflakes. What's the world coming to when you can't show your old chap to a mother and her teenage daughter. I blame Brexit.

  23. Would they have to prove their size at the polling station to make sure that there was no padding?
  24. Have you any evidence of this or have you been overdosing on the Daily Mail? According to the Electoral Commission, there was 1 conviction in 2017 and 1 in 2018.
  25. I think that he's referring to Musk's decision to open an R&D Centre and his first European factory near Berlin. He was originally looking to locate the R&D centre and possibly the factory in the UK but has decided otherwise because of the Brexit chaos. Makes sense to site the factory within the market that you'll be selling to.
