  1. The boys is made of glass from the waist down, it's a real shame as he looks a genuine talent but if he can't stay fit at this stage in his career it will hold back his development and really doesn't bode well for him in later years.
  2. but isn't it ironic?
  3. Lets hope they are paying a significant amount of his wages, more money wasted in a season thats seems to be going nowhere!
  4. Looks like the friendly property developer is showing his hand and whats the betting he becomes decidedly less friendly as soon as the first digger is on site? He needs to keep the few on side for now to help smooth the planning application through but once he has tesco's millions in his pocket I doubt we will ever hear from him again as he is swiftly moved down the cool wall from super hero to evil villain.
  5. Great video and brilliant to look back on a fantastic couple of years that Guly has played a full part in, I think the only people in this thread who've got anything other than praise for him are the regular muppets! Yes he mucked up in that Derby game but the other goals he's scored more than make up for that if your going to hold one bad performance against pompey against a player then the whole team from our relegation season should never be spoken of again let alone mentioned as legends like Niemi so often is!
  6. Please stop quoting him not only does it feed the mindless troll and thus justify his existence it defeats the point of him being on my block list. If people just didn't respond to these muppets they would soon get bored and leave the forum or at least try and be vaguely creative with their idiocy.
  7. Not surprised I think the prem is a step above his level, as has been said would be nice to see him sign off with a premier league goal and a decent send off from the fans, despite some peoples opinions he was an essential part of the team that got us back to the prem and has always put in a decent shift.
  8. This totally, I see no need to disrupt the team and land up with a potentially disappointing finish to the season and a slide out of the top half but if we are giving a player 10 minutes at the end I'd much rather it was on of our potential future players than Guly or Hoiveld both of whom are probably on there way out of the club at some point in the near future.
  9. 300 jobs isn't far off when you consider most of them are part time jobs for school kids and the retired, which isn't really relevant anyway the best bit for me is even the artists impression that is supposed to sell this proposal show fat pipes park almost exactly as it is today perfect evidence that this deal is not getting the club anything except some cash to keep them limping along and a land locking that means the ground can never be redeveloped into anything particularly impressive.
  10. Scary how reliant we are on young Gallagher as someone said earlier maybe Jonno Quick will be sniffing a premier league debut, I'm certain that if Sharp was still on the books someone would have given him a squad number by now!
  11. I think if you ask a sheffield utd fan they might beg to differ!
  12. Anything but own brand we proved that business can't resist the temptation of a quick buck and produced some of the worst low quality crap in history, if the team were actually playing in the same shirts every week that we could by no wonder we were a bit rubbish! Every shirt we've had since going with a brand has been superior to the in house much I really liked the addidas kits particularly the Sash which I would like to see in the design rotation in future years along with stripes and some other variations on the red and white theme.
  13. Who cares nobody in their right mind would join Chelsea on a youth contract the last player to make it to first team regular was John Terry who is about to retire so that isn't a great record.
  14. To be fair lallana was a late bloomer, always had great technique but too him a while to find his best position and form. Right now he should be starting for England and I'll be amazed if we are not fighting off the bidders in the summer as he must be good enough for the top 4.
  15. Notice you haven't pointed out the mid table team with a much stronger squad than us though which kind of implies we have a decent mid table squad which hopefully we can build on with one or two in the summer.
  16. yes because everyone rushes into central London on a Friday night and not the other way round!
  17. On ignore it's much more bearable though and much easier to blank them out. Your point on moderation is a good one though, I'm an active poster on a number of forums and this is the only one I've ever used and ignore list for but then it is football and you only have to look around on a Saturday afternoon to realise that a lot of footy fans are the dregs of humanity.
  18. Name a mid table side with a better squad?
  19. a week squad that is in the top ten of one of the strongest leagues in the world? The squad isn't week it's more than adequate for a mid table prem team and is showing significant improvement from this time last year.
  20. He head butted an important long standing and respected member of the team in a training session, the team didn't want him back so best for all he goes back to Italy. It's all about dressing room harmony you notice the team didn't get shot of him for scrapping on the touchline and getting a three game suspension that was the sort of stupidity I could put up with but messing up the team spirit can't happen no player is bigger than saints.
  21. The January windows has been a massive let down for just about every club in the league so far, Ive not noticed a single signing where I thought we should be in for that. The only quality players moving about are going for crazy money to desperate teams. Our season is fizzling out into mid table nothingness so why waste the money on players now? Kepp the powder dry and let the kids build some game time while we plan some summer moves.
  22. There are two simple solutions to this 1. Stick the muppets on your block list so you don't have to see there drivel. 2. Don't feed the Troll, the whole point in there existence is to provoke a reaction ignore them and like all simpletons they will get bored.
  23. LOL nicely put. We might win the FA cup with a bit of luck both on the field and in the draw we won't finish top 4 becuase that requires consistency not luck!
  24. slightly concerned about the lack of left back cover if Danny has gone, I know most people think he's rubbish but who else do we have? are we saying that the next in line from the youth team is ready?
