I suggest the tablets have taken the place of many bookcases.

that's good as they have a good wide pitch and so his crosses can be stopped from going for throw ins

Have you seen the sky sports bit on twitter, I am about to post it on the everton match thread Brilliant

All info regarding this seems to be erased online. The Sun Mail and mIrror pieces are deleted it seems. Probably to protect the family

Very sad, funny when you dont even know someone and I personally had never heard of him but you feel differently than you do if it was somebody not in the limelight. A couple of thoughts, there is the pilots family as well to consider. Who is going to take the financial hit, Nante Cardiff or Insurance. The insurance company wont pay out straight away and so both clubs have lost the use of funds or a player.

One wheel on your caravan , surely. Now is the time to see what your lot are made of. Personally I think you will win the league. Luton will fall away as they have lost their manager and Sunderland are not quite there. If I had a hoice Id rather you win your league than Liverpool win the PL. Its bad enough listening to your bigmouths let alone the guttural squawk if the Scoucers

Brilliant tv , I was watching at it at my business as this was going off, it certainly showed how I felt with the tension and frustration

if only we could play a team from a league below us in a cup final , while fielding a team of stars that the nation was subsidising. We have other fish to fry, preferably Skates but the league is at present more important and as you will know you don't really need the destraction of the FA cup to take your mind off that. Going to Oxford and losing now that is a gooden
-
Amazing really as Everton always do the same to us up there. In the 70's and 80s it seemed to me that they did well against us home and away, and everytime we play them I have the negative of Highbury 84

If we flop back into the EU, how will the rest of the world judge us. A trading nation that cant keep its word will be a humiliation, forget the economics of this but we will be harmed in so many ways. Once back we will be treated with disrespect imo

Id have got 6m electric gate and a gateman lol. Only teasing UJ
-
Probably more like me Jeff, but I will say you couldn't even negotiate people to stop parking in front of your gate and so perhaps you are on soft ground there.
-
I am sympathetic to the deal but it is bad as we will still be under the jurisdiction of the Eu as the deal supersedes anything our law. The backstop if I understand correctly will stay in place until the EU decide to drop it. In that time we have to abide by any regulation/law that the EU puts in place even if it is against our national interests. In theory they could make always saying we can only fish cod to a certain size but everyone else bigger, far fetched but Im sure you get the drift of it. We wont have any say at all as we have left nd our veto lost. Revoke Article 50 and flop back in or leave without a deal that really is the option. Half baked deals will leave us very unhappy and we will have no advantages. I always respect your posts as you are well gemmed up on the subject and I only skim over it, but I do believe Iam more experienced in negotiating (sometimes you get it wrong of course) but giving away a bargaining chip as much as the EU pretend it does not matter is not clever.
-
That is not necessarily the point. Both sides will be hurt and whilst near term it will hurt us more, a terrible deal will hurt us much more as it is forever. The 39b may also be reduced. I dont advocate leaving without a deal but if we have to we must. The deal as it stands gives us nothing. I voted to remain but also understand that in democracy the result has to be upheld.
-
It may be a vacuous gesture but so why the big talk about it? The deal the EU have given us is terrible, notice how they are all united, its because they know they are having their gateau and eating it. They realise that by not budging many are losing their nerve over here and we are divided.
-
I suspect Shurlock has never had to negotiate anything meaningful if he believes that not having the no deal is a bargaining chip. No deal is also a disaster for the EU and they really dont want the thought that the 39 billion they would be getting with a deal is potentially off the table. Ireland is totally stuffed if we have no deal, and the fishing industries for Spain and France are in peril. Macron veiled threat re our food supplies (he didnt mention medicines) did not take into account the massive damage that will do to France Spain Belgium, Poland and Holland. Whether the disaster is worse for the UK is greater is obviously an issue, but the deal at all costs could be greater. Remember the deal we sign up to is forever, not short term, we all have to live with it for the rest of our lives and so taking anything off the table for free is not in our interests. As for the flights, I think much of Europes flights rely on our air control so that also could be brought in a tit for tat scenario. If we do 'crash out' we can say that we will not put borders up to stop the flow and it would be up to the EU to enforce it their side, would their businesses be pushing them to let that happen. Yes there will be a lot of uncertainty but watching Wedgewood Benn and his take on the Euwas enlightening, I have never rated his opinions much but his words did ring true

Can I point out that you were telling us that JWP was better than Redmond and that JWP should be playing in front of him. Now you have moved to Lemina, I suggest in a few weeks it will be in front of Foster. I want JWP to flourish but it is slow in coming. Against Derby he drove through the centre and was going in on goal but lost his nerve and passed to Long who had drawn the defenders away. He rally does need to take his chances and become 1st on the team sheet for his position. Take a leaf out of Redmonds book, I have always seen Redmonds ability but many did not, he has now in the main proved those doubters wrong and so there is not Reason JWP can do the same if he starts being a positive player instead of a very safe dull footballer

Saints vs Derby - FA Cup 3rd Round Replay Thread
OldNick replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
If they go up I doubt they will have all those loans and so they will have a pretty poor squad. The loan players are better than Championship quality, so having them makes Frank look better tan he is .The centre back from Chelsea was superb. -
Its so depressing when someone really in the know has such an opinion
-
trouble is that YouTube could make Mo look good!!! Not really the place to see. To be fair if Ralph rates a player I have more faith than Les's opinion

"I can tell you very solemnly that in the framework of this future relationship, the interests of French fishing will be defended and we will have to negotiate a transition period with them anyway because the British can't afford not to have a plane taking off or landing in their country and 70% of their supermarket supplies comes from continental Europe." Macron. So our friends in Europe are threatening to starve us and not let planes fly, Nice
