Not cup tied I assume, makes him more desirable for clubs in Europe so we can get more dosh I assume
-
we didnt do enough business in the summer to be able to fight on 3 fronts. If we get through on Thursday in the Europa all things will lokk rosy again and we can stop doing quite so much rotation

Koeman is Dutch lol

after his humiliation by Sims on sunday and the Everton fans not happy, I wouldnt be surprised if a few are thrown in
-
I dont think he will end up at Everton, but their interest is there
-
The special grass must have an impact as well. Surely all the teams who go to FP must revel playing on real grass, it obviously lifts their game.

VVD will go, it is now the usual unsettling period when the clubs use journos to show their interest and unsettle players. Everton interest is probably very true and I diid see that VVD talks regularily to RK!!

Happy birthday , I was told by a friend of his that he hasnt been too well recently

I totally understand the concept and if you are out to pocket money then that is the way, but if the club could actually build a team that won things perhaps we would then be the club players wanted to join for glory not a leg up to better things. Whilst it is nice seeing our players develop into top players at our club. there might be a day when we have to boo every club that visits due to them buying our players. We already have Libverpool,ManU,Spurs,Everton

apt name of the forum as they are a grand old team, most of them seem to be in their 30;s
-
are you implying that left wingvoters don't have a mind of their own and so rely on the right wing media to make up their minds. A lot of the time the major broadcasters seem very left wing to me......funny old world As I mentioned earlier in the thread that it is odd that now the election is over that the BBC etc are not reporting on the endless flow of refugees hitting Europe.

I suppose it depends on the starting position of each club. We finished 6th and had 50m in, as well as further surplusses in the past. The blatant weakinging of the squad, especially in the goalscoring department may well cost us in all competitions

Sparta Prague 1 Saints 0 - Match Thread & Melt Down
OldNick replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
I thought you'd be brighter than that. -
Have you ever played football? Whilst i agree playing 3 games over a 2 week period should not be a major problem but for 8 months it is

I for 1 am not blaming Puel. I believe he will play a strong side in the last game to get the result we need. Many questioned the lack of signings to replace the quality that left, all the nonsense that Charlie was signed as Pelle was leaving was always a nonsense as we were short of forward back up even when he arrived. The case is that Puel has to try and protect the major players as our squad is thin of quality. When he joined he did say he was happy with the squad we had, but as his position was not strong he had to toe the club line. Lets wait and see what happens in the next game and see if we progress through, then last night will be forgotten

I'm sure you are correct except it is not just right wingers who voted out.Much of Labour heartlands did as well

It seems to me that we may as well go straight to WTO tariffs and get on with it, as there is no way we will sort out an agreement in 2 years with 27 countries who have different agendas and self interest. It will save us a lot of hand wringing, the costs to do it, and also the uncertainty in general business while they play their politics.

I was fearful of a bad defeat aka last seasons league cup game. A draw against a team high in confidence was decent
-
Refs having a very poor game, he has only sent 2 off from the Mansfield team. The League are conspiring against them again
-
were you listening to him after getting your first mirror
-
AS much as I now dislike the weasel. Lallana does look a decent player again these days

Global banking businesses will face nightmarish decisions if the UK loses its access to euro-clearing trading as part of the Brexit negotiations, the Japanese ambassador to the UK has warned. Koji Tsuruoaka said that Japanese companies would be among those affected as he emphasised the seriousness of what is at stake as the UK prepares for Brexit. Some EU countries are determined to stop the UK retaining its euro-clearing rights post-Brexit, so the business would be transferred to Frankfurt and Paris. - Guardian
