  1. I'm sure you are correct except it is not just right wingers who voted out.Much of Labour heartlands did as well
  2. It seems to me that we may as well go straight to WTO tariffs and get on with it, as there is no way we will sort out an agreement in 2 years with 27 countries who have different agendas and self interest. It will save us a lot of hand wringing, the costs to do it, and also the uncertainty in general business while they play their politics.
  3. I was fearful of a bad defeat aka last seasons league cup game. A draw against a team high in confidence was decent
  4. Refs having a very poor game, he has only sent 2 off from the Mansfield team. The League are conspiring against them again
  5. were you listening to him after getting your first mirror
  6. AS much as I now dislike the weasel. Lallana does look a decent player again these days
  7. Global banking businesses will face nightmarish decisions if the UK loses its access to euro-clearing trading as part of the Brexit negotiations, the Japanese ambassador to the UK has warned. Koji Tsuruoaka said that Japanese companies would be among those affected as he emphasised the seriousness of what is at stake as the UK prepares for Brexit. Some EU countries are determined to stop the UK retaining its euro-clearing rights post-Brexit, so the business would be transferred to Frankfurt and Paris. - Guardian
  8. Yep did you hear some of them ' some of my friends on social media are going to be affected,' lol

    No Plan B

oh come on this is getting to be nonsense. Every manager I can remember we have people saying there is no Plan B. With the plyers we have got we have only one option ever
  10. Robbie, behave Puel is a very good manager. The squad is not deep enough to play with energy all the time.
  11. does Parliament want the govenrment to broadcast our negotiating position,if so that is madness showing your hand. We push the button and have 2 years to negotiate (that is hopeful) once we have the terms that the 27 other countries are imposing on us, we then go back to Parliament to get a vote on it. What exactly do they think we can then get if the EU nations have told us what they will allow? We may as well forget the negotiations and go straight to the WTO tariffs as there is not a hope in hell we can get all these things lined up in the 2 years.
  12. to be fair I cant stand listening to Merrington and when I got home I awaited score updates on Sky Sports news, rather than listen to his ramblings. I only mentioned Solent due to the fact when the game kicked off the first songs heard were Pompey ones.
  13. Not on Solent as the game kicked off
  14. you can despise them but singng about them when we were playing an imortant European game! They will have reflected pleasure knowing that instead of thinking about Saints and egging on our team that the first songs as the game kicked off was about their non entity team.

at 22? players are normally peaking around 26ish
  16. yep I thought the same, it was sure to be about extending the stands lol
  17. I was listening to the first 20minutes on the radio and commented that the first few songs were all about Pompey. Boring, they are L2 and why we advertise them to the world amazes me. They are a forgotten outfit and so we should forget them.....perhaps we should have blue poppies with Lest we remember or Forgotten on them

i wonder if he has been watching and taking note of the keeping in Forum matches lol...if only I could dig out a certain goal against my team of heroes....................only kidding BP
  19. thanks, it sounded pretty distasteful and whilst I understand it was 'professional' as Shearer etc would say, I believe that doing what the inter player did to the penalty spot was beyond the pale. Gamemanship is part of football but that for some reason offends me more than other tricks. Sadly a great club like Inter will have their image tarnished by doing such things and should be above it
  20. On Sky Sports news they were making a big thing about the Milan player damagig the penalty spot and McQueen being elbowed. I cant seem to find a mention of the event on here and so was it not a major incident????
  21. People complain that people feel unattached from politics and then when they do vote it seems their wishes are going to be thwarted by sidestepping
  22. this is a mess, I would have thought that the man on the street felt that if the result went Brexit then the then Government will impliment the peoples wishes. The unelected judges are going agianst the nations wishes and this makes people dislike the establishment further. For the nation to go back cap in hand and say 'no we are not leaving after all' would be the biggest disaster since Dunkirk. The joke of Europe. All of you can debate about the technical bits but the majority of people on the street will feel betrayed by the judges/Parliament. I voted in and should be delighted but no Iam disappointed that people are wriggling out of the decision
  23. Katrina might sell as she is sick of the best players being sold all the time....
