Pap has done a downfall video, Steve as Hitler. It is mildly amusing. The irony is that one of historys all time people who believed that there was a great conspiracy is being portrayed as the owner of this site lol
-
Hey jeff i supported you earlier as i felt you were being hard done to. However much CB may irk, accusing somebody of that type of vileness is not on, the same as your mention of Whelk sending you grovelling PM's they are called Private Messages for a reason.
-
I wont waste my time looking back for it, and I will let others addled brains to make up their minds who is correct
-
i must admit I may have unintentionally slurred another poster by comparing him to you CB lol You are made of sterner stuff, your PM's show your softer side though
-
I thought you left this site at one time and said you werent coming back, I may have an addled brain but not that addled
-
Jeff don't give up on here. It is pathetic how posters round on people and try in their minds belittle others. The reflection is not on you but those that think it's good to use the mob mentality. Hypo seems to have a dislike of you but don't forget he has stropped off this forum at least once.Justt as this site is weakened as others leave it would be good to have a bit of harmony with those that are left. Also do we not owe Steve and Baj a bit of appreciation as there would have been little left after S4E finished? It seems bad that Steve is getting stick when he put his head on the line all those years ago

Are you not the same 2 people? You both have the same posting style lol

Transfer update on Clyne, Schneiderlin and transfer priorities
OldNick replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
As much as it irks, Liverpool are one of the worlds most famous teams and have an aura that we will never have. In fact the situation and realisation that whatever we do we will never be a pull to top players etc is depressing. We will develop the odd decent one, we will find a bargain who will become a top player but all will leave to one of the glamour clubs. I am falling out of love of football and watch very little compared to a few years ago but still enjoy playing indoor at my old age. IMO there was no doubt Clyne would leave, like at Palace he ran his contract down and instead of the clubs befitting he does when he joins another club. Had he signed a longer contract we would get another 5-10m, him not doing so means his signing on fee and contract is bigger. Annoying but shrewd business. Our only hope is that Man U or another decide to join the battle so that we get a bigger fee. -
Granty was one of my team, as Im a team man this is where i stay. Sotonians I will look at , enjoy to read but it is a bit of an old pals club. Iam a bit surprised that there is not the amount of humour I was expecting on there.

i notice on the other site you are re writing history, 1-0 down and going on to win 4-1.What a load of ****** Your mind is going Phil.If you recall correctly you brought a sub on without the refs permission and went on to win by a single goal. I think you will fail to mention the 2nd game when the silence was very noticable from your dugout......ok there wasnt much from ours late in the game after i was sent off lol
-
thats a shame as I had hoped they would be playing league games against Waterlooville etc
-
Who moved this to TMS? It was a lounge thread, the tumbleweed is the only thing on TMS nowadays as the posters have left

Roy Hodgson warns Clyne over attitude in response to Slovenia game
OldNick replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
dont worry in a month or so and Clyne is at Liverpool we will say he is rubbish and over-rated. Hodgson can say what he wants at present, his team has won all the qualification games and so at present fireproof. -
i don't think it was name dropping but good to hear the experiences

Saints opt not to take up right-to-buy on Eljero Elia
OldNick replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Personally I thought I saw flashes of a very useful player. He seems to have a quick footballing brain. IMO if Koeman rates him then that should hold a lot of sway. It seems to me he is a better judge than a lot of the committee -
Lol,you are funnier than Lenny henry. That might not be seen as praise though
-
Just wait for a bad run or some difficult transfer business and the bickering will be back in full flow. Most of those on the other site rarely did the wind up IMO
-
time will tell, I found the humour a bit of a relief from some of the bickering. The loss of posters has weakened the site, but it has been going that way for sometime now.
-
i think there are 70 members and so in theory that is 70 who are less likely to post on here.

Come on Saintsweb, they are on page 4 talking about this thread already. Surely we can compete or is it that there are so few left on here that the Marie Celeste has more crew lol
-
anything that weakens the debate on here is a backward step. personally I liked Bearsy a lot but it takes all types I suppose. CB Fry and others like to stir things but at least they do make the place lively at times. Sterile sites become very dull. Anyway I will view both sites and add my pennyworth now and again on here

As this site is pretty slow and less and less people contributing i have been looking in on the Splinter Groups site, Sotonians. It seems to be a another good forum. Looks a very similar format to this forum with different areas to look at,depending what mood you are in. It is sad that those contributors are not still here lightening up this one, no doubt in time it will develop the same spats as on here. Hopefully they will still contribute here as well. Iam quite sure when any real action happens to debate regarding the Saints, here will be the first port of call for the majority. The irony is for me that the site is called Sotonians but most dont live in Southampton, whats the old 2 Ronnies joke about the Welsh Boomerang, 'it doesnt return but just sings about returning.' Good luck to them, and i hope it works but not at the expense of its big brother.

if he falls, lets hope he doesnt land on some poor innocent going about their normal life
