  1. Yeh, the trouble is he got caught in the 'not helping police with their enquiries web',(which has a name, I can't recall it at the moment). It's where the 'CLEVER ONES' think by not giving a specimen of breath, identifying the driver, ignoring letters etc. they can 'GET AWAY WITH IT' the law actually punished you worse for doing this. So he would have been better by not ignoring the letters, employing a solicitir and either copping for it, or letting them know who was driving at the time. Also, no doubt, the Magistrate wants to send a lesson to normal 20+ year olds in their 50k cars. Hopefully he'll learn and others will learn too.
  2. Can I have my fiver back please?
  3. My problem is reversed Not only did it renew, it did it again the following week.
  4. I voted. Never got anywhere though
  5. Thanks I do try.
  6. THAT'S WHAT WE WANT!!!!!!!!!! HOJJJJJJJJJJ
  7. Southgate: I have a problem Steve Holland: Whats that, Boss Southgate: I need to choose a left back and it's between Ryan Bertrand and Luke Shaw. Holland: Well Ryan Bertrand puts in a good shift, and has played well lately. Southgate: But Luke Shaw had that good game recently and plays for Manchester United. Holland: Yes but Ryan is consistent, has a good head on him. Calm in a situation. Southgate: Yes, but Luke Shaw plays for Man United. Holland: And don't forget, Ryan scored a screamer of a goal at the weekend. Southgate: Yes, there is that. But don't forget, Luke plays for Man United. Holland: And Ryan is a general on the pitch, a good back up captain, and has plenty of experience playing AGAINST some of the best in the world. Southgate: Do you know what, Steve? You put forward a good case and helped me make up my mind. My decision? Both Together, (With Holland in a sarcastic voice): The choice is Luke Shaw........because he plays for Manchester United. Southgate: I'll just go and phone Sir Alex and make sure that's alright with him. Holland: He doesn't manage Man United anymore. Southgate: I KNOW THAT STEVE!!!! I'm not bloody stupid. No, I mean the England team sheet.
  8. No they didn't They said he was playing high in the hole behind gab.
  9. Blame Jimmy Chinny Hill
  10. I could finish that in 3 weeks..............but for them, and the risk of -10 point deduction.................7 months!!!!!!
  11. All I can say is that it's alright to say, 'Huh, smacks of desperation' and 'needed one for a long time' etc. But who is to say that we haven't been chasing our targets and just not getting anywhere? Also, as he is playing for his 'team', who is to say he wont up his game for his 'team'. I can't play for **** but would try and put in a shift for saints if I had to. I welcome him coming, at least we know he has perm experience. Lets hope eh? That's all we can do.
  12. Because it is so easy to criticise, so difficult to create. We will have a tough season, but this doesn't just link to the loss of class, it's also to having a team rather than 11 individual players who understand the plan. This is waht Hughes is paid to do, and to get them to play the best formation to fit their strengths, and to cover our weaknesses.
  13. They did well enough I think this was a success and they are just starting. They are young enough to be at the next world cup and hopefully they will learn from this and strive further. I wanted to see this, a team of youngsters play their heart out for their country and each other and we got that. Roll on the Euros
  14. +1 If Fat Sam was still in charge I reckon he would be still in the team.........and we would have been out a week ago.. I feel that even if they don't go through the next stage (and I think we.will)this has been a successful world cup for.us.
  15. Nah, I don't believe it. Inside information says that Saints are looking at other options and Hughes won't sign as he is only being given a sultry amount of transfer funds and nothing from player sales. Smoke and mirrors, I tell you, smoke and mirrors from the Management. where's my tinfoil hat? Les Reed is stealing my brainwaves. Good to see, hopefully, some stability now and a bit of building.
  16. Probably got more to say than you think
  17. Stoke equalise back to 10 swing
  18. I said as the only reason to keep Puel is stability. I whole heartily think this is still the case, and old sparky does deserve it. Also, after the terrible season we have had and the great escape, the management need to regroup and learn from their mistakes and give us some stability. Puel and Pellegrino looked OK on paper, Potchetino looked and big risk and went on to bigger and better things and, with poch and Koeman, you see what happened when you get a manager that is starting to gel. Hughes appointment is a little like Ryan Bertrand. They have been at other clubs, bigger clubs, and sometimes you just want to be able to function without the **** that comes from bigger teams. Time will tell.
  19. I think you meant to say Dad,Brother and Uncle:lol:
  20. You forgot to mention In The Premiership
  21. I'll miss half of you on here until we get back up. You'll enjoy supporting your 'Second Teams'.
  22. RIP Ray. Gone, but not forgotten.
  23. Portsdown Hill would be perfect.
