Puel Sacked? - As Reported by Crook of Sh*t
Secret Site Agent replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
No, He's being a funny Twot about us reporting Liverpool to PL for tapping up VVD. -
You should look at them not as people, but as a product. Best people would be Manager, DoF, Finance director etc. Players are the comodity, so as a business model it is a good one, I agree, but not for us that hate to see the Souped up BMW 7 series replaced with a 1 series every year.

HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa And we all fell for it. Probably a bit bored and decided to have a laff at the medias expense.

I can't find the tweet. Has it been withdrawn? Do you have a link?

SWEEPSTAKE ALERT - Puel departure announcement timing - all welcome
Secret Site Agent replied to CB Fry's topic in The Saints
Perhaps he's staying because of the Power of the People and the majority want him to stay? You can't judge the feelings of the majority by litening to a few boo boys on Saturdays and the proud few on here who like to make their point again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again......until they are conviced either everyone is with them, or everyone is wrong. I think we need some stability and should keep Puel for next season and compare eggs with eggs and see what he can do with a fully fit team, plus a few additions. -
Rumours of takeover/investment interest

That is the whole point, i feel. The big boys have benefited from having cash thrown at them, now they are happy to make sure no one else has the opportunity. The problem is they don't like the idea of Gao taking over because he is a crook, but the thing is, who says? He might be a bit dodgy but he's never been convicted of anything, and he's the sort that would find a way around the FFP or just say 'Tā mā de, I'll just buy the best, pay the fines and don't worry about the transfer embargo'. He could be the best thing for us, or the worst, you just don't know. Football can be big money, and he could have a plan to make loads, and for that to happen we would need to be successful, so he would have to make us so, or his 200 mill would go down the pan. Would the blue few give up their little bit of glory to not be where they are now? Food for thought -
What, someone else has scored in her box?

Well.........the season wasn't so bad considering the injuries etc. 8th, a cup run, it could have been worse. Just need to give the man another season I think and re-evaluate. hate to say it, but we need some stability

+1. It's different because.........that's all...............because............Instant gratification from the Smartphone generation, where as we from the MTV generation understand patience and suffering.

I was worried that Puel had lost the dressing room. But he says that he always turned right before the double doors at the end of the corridor, and now knows to go through them and the dressing room is there. So no worries then:lol::lol:
-
SO you want him. So, you DON'T want him. And you back Puel? I don't know if i'm for washsaint or agin 'im. I'm confused and I need a drink.
-
Yeh, perhaps, but it doesn't offer job stability. If Bournemouth get relegated, he'll still have a job with them. If we dropped into 15th, he would be out the door. There is no reason for him to come here, bar getting the sack at Bournemouth. No, I hate to say it, but Puel is what we have and it looks like another season of him. Just for the stability.

My company e-mail was down for best part of the day so been playing Footie Manager, went for a mess around on our safety board, been baiting pompey scummers, setting up arguments between poole and bournemouth, eating someones pasty in the fridge, and having a snooze. So, you know, working.

Former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner says the passion of Portsmouth supporters is the reason he wants to buy the club. Plus the fact that he misses the Disney characters parade and kick off at Pompey will remind him of home. You couldn't make it up.

Isn't the assistance currently managing a resurgent Leicester?

Pleeeese. Minor Planet. Where have you been. It's a Dwarf Planet:lol::lol It always had a small planetoid syndrome. Or is that HE?

I think it'll be a snoozefest at 0 - 0. That's why it'll probably be a 5-4 loss to us. We should do a deal. They let us win 9-0 We give them JRod on a season long loan win-win. We beat a record And Jrod will probably score for fun. Plus Joey Barton could put some wedge on for them with the local turf accountant.

Wow, I actually agree with Glasgow here. He's being very positive lately, have you been visited by 3 ghosts me old mate? Back to the post, well I think we should at least try and finish a bit stronger than we have lately, but it seems we may perhaps be on the proverbial beach already. Someone should say that they wont get sold to Liverpool if they finish so poorly:lol:

No ambition from the club, players or fans!

I agree to. This season would have been been different if we had not had the injured we have had. Some just want more now rather than being patient. -
I've dipped in and out a few times. nor sure exactly what was going on. It reminded me of the sort of show on BBC 2 in the 70s when I was ill and home from school.
-
I'd keep what we have. Puel needs time to bed in and I'll judge after season two when he no longer has to hit the ground running. Silva is a good shout though and one I would be happy with.......but not yet.

If Dalek says we are safe, that is good enough for me. I have written off this season anyway. A little underwhelmed if I am honest, but at least no need for us to hit the panic button. Onward and upwards for next season.
