I moments ago spoke to Tony to ask him the official line on the statement from the FL, saying nothing was offical and that SSN had said they will not budge.

his reply was

"There will be a piece on BBC South Today today at 18.30 explaining the position.

We will be buying the club make no mistake about this.

'We will be buying the club make no mistake about this.'

Well put the pen to paper as was stated in your post today.

Sorry to sound tetchy but this is getting close to the end. There is £1m to be found on thursday for wages etc we cant mess around. I accept the FL know this but if we have no club there is nothing to fight -10 about.Unless they can get a court injunction to stop the league started we have no choice.

If you read the statement from the Football League, it doesn't specifically state that Pinnacle CAN NOT appeal the points deduction, but it does say that they (the Football League) will 'continue to liaise with their (Pinnacle's) representatives going forward.'

Does this possibly mean that an agreement or compromise has been reached and that the news on South Today at 18:30 is to announce that the deal to take the club over has been confirmed and is set to go through tomorrow. 2+2=5?
