Doesn't have a pot to **** in - apparently

 

Can someone please explain why it's a fake bid? Who has anything to gain from a hoax? It just doesn't add up or am I just being simple?

You cannot fake £500k so where did it come from? It was always a sum of money that could potentially be lost, so somebody somewhere must have been able to afford to write it off if need be. I would have to be worth a shed load of cash to be able to chuck £500k down the drain.

I spoke to Um this evening trying to fathom out what Pinnacle would achive by being chancers.

 

1. They have proved funds

2. Gained an exclusive period with the administrators

3. Completed Due Diiligance

4. Created a board of directors which has been approved by the FL

5. Proved funds to the FL

6. Admitted talking to Keegan

7. Introduced some guy that it seems was very easy to find information out about.

8. Been semi open about there issues with regard to the FL

9. Mark Fry even said he was on their side last week

 

So please can someone tell me why this is waste of time and a hoax, as I dont get it

That is what most of us can't fathom out and MF being on SSN ok great for 5 minute laugh with his mates but when that's gone how will he be thought of?

Everything adds up but something has happened to change things because the administrator doesn't see it happening with Pinnacle.

 

The reason for not completing doesn't stack up. They have said they are going to buy the club then why not buy it and continue the negotiations with the league.

 

Unless I am wrong which is always likely, they have the money and they aren't going to blink until the club is 10 minutes from liquidation hoping the league blinks first, as there are no other takers.

There is no logical reason why anyone would go to these lengths without being serious about buying the club.

 

I think that some posters on this forum need to look at this situation from a logical, reasoned standpoint.

 

Some of the theories being put forward are laughable such as Pinnacle have no money - To complete due dilligance they would have had to prove that the funds were available.

 

Or that this is an elaborate hoax - The Hitler Diaries were a hoax. Cost= £0. So far Pinnacle have stumped up about £1million. Now as much as I'd like to pull off a legendary hoax, I certainly wouldn't be willing to spunk that kind of money to do it.

 

It has been hinted that the money is coming from MF's 'community', because MF has serious connections within the Jewish community. This seems a likely scenario to me.

 

The hatchet job being perpetrated by members of this forum and the lazy journalists at the Echo has managed to create a frenzy that is beginning to border on the vitriolic. There is even a slight undertone of anti semitism creeping in.

I find this bitterly disappointing and it makes me ashamed of some of my fellow fans.

 

I want us to be united for the first time in years but I am beginning to think that this isn't possible.

I truly hope that this deal happens and happens real soon; not because I want to see egg on the faces of the naysayers but because I WANT MY CLUB BACK!

That has got to be getting for for £1million.

 

But we don't yet know who stumped up the £500K for exclusivity. I've asked for this question to be answered by TL.

Pinnacle paid. We know that for a fact because they had exclusivity for 3 weeks.

Or are you inferring that someone paid the money to Pinnacle for exclusivity in return for involvement with the bid?

If that is the case, what is the problem?

Who is paying the lawyers and bean counters?

True, do I believe a respected accountancy firm acting as Administrators, MLT and TL, or do I believe someone who posts on a message board. Duh, difficult one that.

 

Please try to understand that no-one could get this far without the funds existing, and no-one would **** £1mill against a wall just to pull off a hoax.

My understanding is that TL got Matt involved and the money men are down to TL. Therefore MLT may well trust Tony, but many people also trusted Jacko in the past. I'm purely playing devils advocate with this ramble, but the point is anyone can be fooled by people with the gift of the gab. It happens all the time.

Mark Dennis stated on the radio about a week back that were two backers:

 

A) someone a little bit well off (Fialka?)

 

B) someone really, really well off (Unknown)

 

I guess a few days back when they first saw the FL's "Goalpost changed" contract that "B" got cold feet and left the party. The so called "FL issues" are being rolled out each day to buy time while they run around try to find a replacement "B" and save face (plus the club).

I'm inferring nothing. I'm intrigued to know who stumped up the £500K given the conflicting rumours on here. Let's say Crouch paid the money - where does this leave the credibility of MF? Tony states that MF would be the sole owner of the club - i can just about go along with this if he has a rich uncle etc that wants to do him a favour (jewish and other immigrant families to do like to keep their business interests run by family members) but it would strike me as odd if MF's backer didn't pay the £500K and it would add weight to the question of their resolve to complete the purchase.

I can't see this being a hoax.

 

Fry has opened the bidding again because he is duty bound to. I think he is trying to force Pinnacle's hand and I don't blame him. Pre-season is upon us and things need to move quickly.

 

The assassination of Fialka by the Echo is scandalous. I don't believe they know the full picture concerning him. The hypocrisy of them knows no bounds. Especially when they continue to be the mouthpiece for a proper bullsh*tter, Marc Jackson.

The truth is, TL had contacts with some "Londoners with Money" and Andy H. put him in touch with Matt Le Tiss. All over a drink at the Lock, Stock and Barrel.

 

The only problem for Tony and Matt is that they both got on the bus, and the gibbering nutter was the only ****ney left and he is sitting in the next seat, claiming he is a multi-millionaire, ex-professional footballer....

 

Crouch was driving the bus and I think he jumped off at the last stop....

 

Matt should do the same....

Surely the Swiss are in the same position as Pinnacle as indeed any potential buyer would be?

The FL's contract would be the same for whoever wants to buy.

Until we see the wording of the contract we can only speculate as to what hoops the League require us to jump through.

I feel a lot of people have been like GM and put 2+2 together and deduced it's a hoax. MF doesn't appear to be wealthy and everyone has looked at this backed up by the typically sloppy journalism of the Echo and made their minds up. But just because MF may be relatively poor doesn't mean that a relative of his isn't loaded.

 

As i mentioned in a previous post Jewish families like to keep business in the family - you can trust family members more than anyone else. If you look outside the box then maybe this bid has legs.

 

Pinnacle have gone through due dilligence and they have proved their funds - i cannot get my head round how this could all have been fabricated. Perhaps GM could explain how it could have been and substantiate his claims of fraud.
