Perhaps they thought they didn't need to be smug. They proved a point and we confirmed we have a long way to go despite all out good progress. They'll survive new owner or not as IMO the Premier league will bail them out.

I heard peter storrie has applied to Greece for a loan.

I do, earn the bragging rights unfortunately for us, by letting their team do the talking. I would call that smart and perhaps they recognise there are more important things in life at the moment than beating us.

Its a pity there can't be a little more magnamity on both sides as lets face it the hatred has nothing to do with football which has just become a conduit for all that historic dock strike unrest.

You are such a plum if you believe that strike bs, its a myth FFS. Does anyone still not know that?

Trouble with Portsmouth is they constantly believe their own hype. The most passionate loud fans in the land? absolute ********. They didn't get going until they were 3-1 up.

Quite. Someone said that they mentioned it on the TV at the start of the second half?

The only people that beleive the strike breaker stories are a few dumb fish fiddlers. Never ever happened and never would have because if anyone would have broken any strikes it would be servicemen from the military port breaking strikes at the commercial port, not the other way round. Sailors aren't allowed to go on strike.

Oh, and at derbies up and down the country call each other "scummers". Did Watford workers break a strike in Luton or was it the other way round?

Not disputing the strike story being a myth, but "scummers" specifically is unique to them. Unsurprising as it is a bit grammatically dubious. That doesn't mean the strike point is wrong though.
