As I now live in Lincolnshire, and it was our final game of the season last night due to fixture pile up.

As I was warming up ( wearing my saints home shorts as matches our kit) the ref called me over for a quiet word, i thought oh jesus here we go.

He shook my hand and pulled up the arm of his top to reveal a saints crest, we put world to rights about club etc........ oh and i get every decision that was borderline, didnt help as we lost 6-1.....

It's amazing where you find Saints supporters.

I live in Huntingdon, a few years back we had a works **** up at Peterborough Greyhounds & met a bloke from St Ives wearing a Saints coat

used to live in st ives (cambs) taught opposite the Oxmoor (gulp) now living in Kettering. I often find myself driving on the way to Rockingham and find myself behind the same car with a Sints sticker in the back window.

I live in Royston and the cycle shop in town is owned by a Saints fan, and there are a few dotted around the area. One posts on here who lives up the road from me in melbourn Doctor on call which is weird as I have Dr in my user name to.

I live in Stafford and there are a good few dotted around here, including one just up the road from me.

Cannock Saint (who posts on here) lives the other side of the town and a few more a couple of miles the otherside.

Saw a grey VW Polo parked on Gravel Rd with a Saints sticker on the back on Tuesday. If that's you I'm the fella who drives the red Seat with a SFC plate.

I didn't realise the cycle shop owner was a Saints fan. I need a bike too!

Is the darlaston inn still going, on that roundabout between newcastle and stafford on the A34? I have fond memories of that place.

There are Saints fans everywhere, I have had three jobs in the last ten years all in South East London/West Kent and in all of them there has been a Saints fan in my department. When at uni the first person I sat next to at the first lecture when we had to introduce ourselves was a Saints fan. I've seen Saints tops in West Kingdown, at David Lloyd at Kings Hill and Maidstone to name a few, Saints badges on cars in Crayford, on an electricians van in Maidstone and on a car park in Police Station Road West Malling.

The only Pompey top I've seen locally was on a guy rodding the drains of McDonalds on the A20 near Foots Cray.

It warms the heart everytime I see a flash of the badge and I get a bit excited, to the point that when arriving back in Southampton I have to have a word with myself that its not so strange to see the badge a few miles from St Marys.

Everywhere in Brisbane Australia.

Was wearing my Saints shirt walking down Margaret Street, Brisbane (hated the place) and passed a Man Ure fan wearing THAT black/grey shirt, passed the comment to my Inter supporting companion that I couldn't see him, loud enough for him to hear, if looks could kill.

Live near Bromley in Kent and my lad loves wearing his saints shirt - gets lots of confused stares though, not sure the locals can deal with anything that isn't chelsea, arsenal or spurs. Yet to meet a fellow saint though.

3 1/2 in Bickley. One more at my wife's school in croydon. Loads all around south london and kent

Not quite Lincolnshire based, but our house has just gone on the market and the first folks to walk through the door on a viewing were folks living in Spain who want to buy to rent and the husband is a Saints fan who has come over for the Walsall game!!

I went on a lads weekend to Riga in Latvia a couple years ago. Saints were on Sky playing away at Burnley and we managed to find a pub with the game on. 10-mins before kick off, low and behold, a local Latvian walked in with a Saints shirt on! Needless to say, the fella didn't have to buy a drink for the rest of the night.

Went to Magaluf last year, was running out of tops so decided to wear last season's away top out. Amazed at the amount of Saints fans/people at Southampton Uni that were there who I drunkenly stumbled into conversation with. People came up to me cos of my Saints shirt. Then I got attacked by riot police and lost my mates. But all in all, good times!

My youngest son always wears his Saints shirt around Chester and has met a few Saints fans around that area.

Was born in Chester but moved to Southampton when very young. Glad to see a young Saint proud to wear his colours on cobbles!
