Barry the Badger Posted 29 July, 2013 Share Posted 29 July, 2013 Surely he must have actually been abusive to get a ban?
hypochondriac Posted 29 July, 2013 Share Posted 29 July, 2013 Holloway is a great example of someone who can dish it our but not take it. No sense of humour and basically a complete d*ckhead.
Minty Posted 29 July, 2013 Author Share Posted 29 July, 2013 It seems that this fan is known for being a bit annoying at Crawley, but still, I find Holloway's inability to take stick which everyone knows he dishes out all game every game, rather hypocritical. And that's an understatement.
CB Saint Posted 29 July, 2013 Share Posted 29 July, 2013 Reads like he was pointing out palaces weaknesses to holloway - obviously touched a nerve. Silly to ban him unless he was abusive or racist.
Minty Posted 29 July, 2013 Author Share Posted 29 July, 2013 If bans start getting dished out to fans who give constant abuse from the stands, we'll never need to expand SMS cos it'll be half empty all the time...

Sour Mash Posted 29 July, 2013 Share Posted 29 July, 2013 Going to be quite entertaining this season watching him implode as their season will inevitably from bad to worse.

Window Cleaner Posted 29 July, 2013 Share Posted 29 July, 2013 Really hope we beat palace so we can sing the having a laugh song. If we can't beat Palace then I think that our top 6/8/10 aspirations will be rudely shaken.

Monk Posted 29 July, 2013 Share Posted 29 July, 2013 Will never forget the arrogance he showed me and my missus when his Blackpool side was staying at the Solent Hotel. The ' I wouldn't want an autograph, there's Sunday league managers I rate more than you' comment settled the dispute.

Monk Posted 29 July, 2013 Share Posted 29 July, 2013 Crikey, that was a bit harsh of him... does he not know you've worked at Chelsea?! Witty. Was only 19 at the time, literally went to wish him good luck and to just mumbled 'go easy on us' as a Saints fan, only for him to interupt me and say " Not doing any autographs or photos." He should be so lucky. I know we form our opinions on just a tiny portion of their life, and more often than not we judge 'famous' people quite harshly as a result, but I have never seen or heard anything about Holloway that even vaguely makes me think I'm a bit harsh on him when I think 'You come across as a complete ****t@rd'. Special K Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 I've always thought Holloway was alright. I haven't met the fella, but he seems to come across as a likeable fool on the TV. Although, I can imagine being turned down for an autograph by someone like Holloway as permanently soul destroying.
Batman Posted 30 July, 2013 Share Posted 30 July, 2013 That was his level, I'm sure he wasn't such a **** then and maybe didn't take himself so seriously. Since he came on the radar a bit more he's seemed a complete penis. i have also met neil warnock. he is seen quite a bit down in plymouth he was a very nice guy. loves to talk football and was really impressed when i met him.
