Bit early for this sort of rubbish. One good game means nothing, he needs to get his head down, work hard and deliver on the pitch and then maybe talk to the tabloid press.

I think it's more about attitude and ambition at this stage and it seems from his reaction after scoring his first goal that he has both. Only time will tell if he can deliver consistently but it's a great start.

In fairness, at the end of the article,

“I don’t want to be a one day wonder in the Premier League. I want to give a massive impression over a long period here, like I did in my best days in Europe and with Holland.

 

“I am going to show my class so that this club will decide to buy me. I am praying they will keep me!’’

 

 

I hope he keeps to his word & I don't remember a player praying to stay at Saints before. Forecast and Ali Dia probably did but I don't recall them saying it publicly.
