Have to aadmit, Merrington is showing himself to be a bit daft on that front - I know playesr are not all Mensa candidates but I am sure they can understand that the title is less important than the role and responsibilty - afterall 40 years ago teh manager used to book the coach to away games and hotels - are we saying we should bring that back? Afterall its 'traditional'...

saint1977 Posted 26 January, 2009 Share Posted 26 January, 2009 Mary also fired a broadside at Askham saying it's in his power to swop sides. Someone should point out to Askham - if he's still lucid - that Wilde and Lowe look increasingly likely to put us into administration by March - bye bye to any more profits on his ill-gotten gains from Bowyer and Corbett. That would be justice insome ways but right now we are so desperate we get rid of the Dickhead Duo that even Askham is on the list of people that might help if we talk in the only language Guy comprehends - money and backstabbing. No point trying an ethical line as Guy doesn't have any.

Perhaps if it was targeted at those who have historically aligned themselves with the incumbent regime it might jolt them into switching allegiances? Saint_John Posted 26 January, 2009 Share Posted 26 January, 2009 Mary Corbett was by far the best speaker on the show this morning and Julian Clegg left her until the very end of the show and then kept trying to end the call just to have a Traffic report. During the whole program it seemed he was doing a pr job for the dark lord, just repeating the usually rubbish they come out with and between each call he just seemed to talk about Alan Sugar (I think I heard his name 5 times) - SHAME ON YOU JULIAN. Ok...sorry, was just playing my devil's advocate card there. Yep, have just posted on another thread that perhaps next week's demo is being aimed at the wrong people. If it was aimed at the people that the current regime relies upon for support rather than the people at the helm then we could see a pyramid of cards effect....
