Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Share Posted 26 January, 2009 free to pick my team and do what i want last sentence heres hoping I noticed that and also noticed his call for unity from past chairmen and directors. Is this really ground that the manager (oops head coach) should be discusing? Me thinks Wilde was stood behind the screen and told Wotte what to say before he went before the cameras. No doubt Lowe will blame the fans if we are relegated without stopping to think why the fans are acting this way. We haven't acted like this ever before and the protest during the game had everything to do with the frustration that Lowe will never listen to the fans on anything. This Wotte appointment is doomed to fail IMO.

Ridiculous to blame the fans. Too right. Trouble is, I think that the staff at the club are fed this rubbish within the bunker so often that they start to believe it themselves. We've already heard plenty of stories on here about staff who don't toe the party line and I feel really sorry for people lower down the food chain than Wotte at the club who have to work in that "Bleak House" environment. Not that the Execs behaved any better either. I love the club as a fan but would NEVER consider working for them. Tells me that we are well on the way to victory as a set of fans and Mike Wilde and Guy Askham's house of cards is getting nearer to collapse. They (Wilde, Lowe and chums) have disappeared from public view bar the odd ghost-written piece on the OS.

Whilst I'm sure Lowe and Wilde took over to avoid administration, I think they have run out of ideas and are trying to have one last roll of the dice before March and the administration cut off. Appointed the new manager in turbulent times, it is imperative to make a good impression right? To distinguish yourself from Jan and ask everyone to put their differences behind them and try this new direction? But no, lets just criticise the fans for their lack of unity. How utterly utterly pathetic.

I think he is obviously doesn't want to see fans fighting each other at SMS. He mentioned directors, chairmen, backroom staff etc, but he didn't apportion blame. And he's got a point hasn't he. Are we united as a club? Are we f*ck. We're facing the most important 3 months in our clubs history and we're all over the show. Not just at board level, but fanbase as well. He's right though. Moaning and groaning is going to achieve nothing except surround this club with negative sh1t that we don't need. I'm not suggesting we unite behind the board, or even the manager. But let's unite behind the team at this critical time FFS! What's the alternative?

Our Chairman doesn't turn up to announce a new manager???? Shameful, totally shameful. I sing my firking heart out every game for our team. I am wasting my time when we are being led by the blind, leading the shortsighted, managing the inept. We have moved from being managed by Laurel to being managed by Hardy who thinks unity is to blame for our plight. Greenridge Posted 26 January, 2009 Share Posted 26 January, 2009 He's had a dig at McMenemy and Crouch on SSN - indirectly that is by referring to previous Chairmen 'and even previous Managers' bickering with the current regime. He also stated is contract only runs to the end of the season. Let's hope this is not one gamble too far but having no one alongside him from the Board at todays press conference was all too reminiscent of Wigley in the mobile office announcing his position - whatever that was! He also stated is contract only runs to the end of the season. ! I have to admit I wasn't going to mention how distasteful I thought that was. Lowe's stooooooge 100%. Completely unnecessary and actually continues to disunite the Club by mentioning it in the first place. Has there ever been a manager so few fans wanted at SMS when he started? Even Wigley was given the benefit of the doubt. Recipe for failure. HE WILL BE SEEN AS LOWE'S PUPPET FROM NOW ON IN. The statement above just solidifies the tag.
