You should watch the movie ‘The Swimmers’, gives a good insight in how people end up in these sort of situations. If you are fleeing war, persecution or grinding poverty you are in a desperate situation so won’t care for legalities and most probably don’t know the full risks involved in the crossing.

I have sympathy for anyone desperate enough to attempt the English Channel in one of those dinghies.

I don’t think I’ve met anyone in real life who says anything other than “these people are here illegally, they should be collected and sent straight back immediately”.

I’m yet to meet someone in real life who is a “let them drown” merchant, but given the dregs who have uttered that on here, I don’t much want to.

Agreed. I’m of the view that I condemn the parents strongly who put their kids at risk and into horrific risks and obviously the smuggling gangs who getting squeezed, are taking more and more risks to protect their profits with zero regard for human life, just so they can buy the latest BMW 7 series. I’d automatically ban small boat arrivals from ever winning as asylum case. People can make applications from France if they can make a plausible case and I’d fix Suella’s fuck up by offering a limited legal route there.

That’s still a leap from being unconcerned about dozens of people drowning or worse, not wanting to stop that or thinking they deserve it. With the adults, they bear a major responsibility and should never be parents putting their kids at risk like that, but what kind of civilisation lets them drown?

Oddly, they and the Reform/Restore lot led by Tommo and Tommy, have a great deal in common driven by swallowing misinformation. The adults would-be migrants swallowing the lies about the UK being a land of milk and honey if they can just get to Northern France, and the ‘Engerland’ grifters from the big tech cesspits and Telegram.

I disagree, I think we should spend as much money as we can to make sure they have a better life than our own tax paying citizens and veterans. 
 

Then we should do minimal background checks on any of them, and just throw them into city centres and near schools. Then when any of them commit crimes, instead of being tough on them and deporting them, we should give them lenient sentences and release them back into the public to commit as many crimes as they can. 

Again, to be clear, we need to be focused on spending as much as possible on all of the above, because money grows on trees. 

If they form rape gangs, in somewhere insignificant like, Rotherham, we should all just ignore it and do our best to cover it all up, because it would be against their human rights to do anything different. And we all know that hundreds of girls don’t matter at all.
