You should watch the movie ‘The Swimmers’, gives a good insight in how people end up in these sort of situations. If you are fleeing war, persecution or grinding poverty you are in a desperate situation so won’t care for legalities and most probably don’t know the full risks involved in the crossing. I have sympathy for anyone desperate enough to attempt the English Channel in one of those dinghies. 1

I'm firmly in the if you're safe in France you should stay there gang, but can't fathom the mindset of anyone agreeing that they should be left to perish if they jump on a dinghy to come here. That's just messed up thinking. 3

I don’t think I’ve met anyone in real life who says anything other than “these people are here illegally, they should be collected and sent straight back immediately”. I’m yet to meet someone in real life who is a “let them drown” merchant, but given the dregs who have uttered that on here, I don’t much want to. 4

I just hope they're showing off on here and in real life they don't actually think that. To have that kind of contempt for your fellow man shows genuinely evil tendancies. 3 1

I’m of the view that I condemn the parents strongly who put their kids at risk and into horrific risks and obviously the smuggling gangs who getting squeezed, are taking more and more risks to protect their profits with zero regard for human life, just so they can buy the latest BMW 7 series. I’d automatically ban small boat arrivals from ever winning as asylum case. People can make applications from France if they can make a plausible case and I’d fix Suella’s fuck up by offering a limited legal route there. That’s still a leap from being unconcerned about dozens of people drowning or worse, not wanting to stop that or thinking they deserve it. With the adults, they bear a major responsibility and should never be parents putting their kids at risk like that, but what kind of civilisation lets them drown? Oddly, they and the Reform/Restore lot led by Tommo and Tommy, have a great deal in common driven by swallowing misinformation. The adults would-be migrants swallowing the lies about the UK being a land of milk and honey if they can just get to Northern France, and the ‘Engerland’ grifters from the big tech cesspits and Telegram. ( @Badgerx16 BSc, CCNA, CCNP CISSP, 3 'A' levels, 10 'O' levels ) In the telegraph today... Labour to learn from fiction. Education secretary, Bridget Phillipson, will sit down with Badger, from Wind in the Willows, later today. "The first step in aspiration, is imagination," said a Labour spokesperson. "And what has more imagination, than fiction? We will listen to, and learn from, other educational approaches, including secluded river bank educations. Particularly those threatened by reform supporting toads, who will lose their mansions as soon as we pass some retrospective legislation."

If you have a difference of opinion then it’s virtue signalling or being from the left. You could just have human decency in mind.

rallyboy Posted 32 minutes ago Posted 32 minutes ago The next time dead kids wash up on a beach we can have a fucking party, as long as they're brown. Get the BBQ out, take a ball, play some music, we can use their little corpses as goalposts and laugh at their stupid parents, who are probably rapists anyway, it'll be brilliant! Just don't invite any woke leftys, they'll only pretend to be sad, the virtue-signalling cunts. 3
