I've got no idea who he is and I don't really have any interest in what he posts. I just found it interesting that Farage has so many tiktok fans and I posed a question if that had had any part in his recent success. I don't have a tiktok account myself but I know it's a young person thing.

Reform have certainly targeted that age group on TikTok, I remember reading about it.

Seems to be what would have been the Young Conservatives when we were growing up in the 1980s plus the Conservative Student Societies which were pretty active, effectively replaced them. Like the YCs, this ‘bro’ crowd are almost all men as well 18-25. The YCs were always in the papers for various views that would make CCO shudder plus their drinking, and this cohort sound quite similar.

With the average Tory age of voter let alone member nudging up towards 75, this really is existential for them. Happy to welcome any One Nation Tories into the Lib Dem fold.

You'll be interested to know that this evening I'm attending a mayor making in Kingston for a lib Dem mayor. Though I don't support them I am much more minded to vote for individuals at a local level and they are good people for definite.

I’m not debating the merits of it, just the branding. It’s not a “youth” mobility scheme. It’s free movement for under 30’s, but they haven’t the balls to sell it as such. Can 29 year olds who have been granted asylum take advantage of it?

Don’t know on the last question until more unveiled, but I can’t see how they would. Within the EU, who is anyone seeking asylum from? Hypothetically, perhaps an LGBT+ person from Hungary or Slovakia, or a smuggled woman from Romania, but that’s more of an Albanian issue and they aren’t in the EU.
