I'm not convinced you need Premier League "legs" in the Championship

To be fair to JWP, he is more than just “legs”.

I think when West Ham fans talk about JWP's legs being gone they're thinking of this:

I don't think it's that bad as Raya is running very quickly even for an outfield player and it must be at the end of the game if he's gone up for a corner, so JWP had probably covered quite a lot of ground by then, whilst Raya would be comparatively fresh from not having to run around for 90 mins.

Sorry if already mentioned but apparently he called Nuno ‘Baldy’ at Notts Forest as bants. And Nuno didn’t like it…. no idea how true, just passing info on from a West Ham mate.

He probably said "I badly want to play" as opposed to "I want to play baldy" and it got totally misinterpreted.

Anyone know how he did at Burnley last season?

I try and avoid watching them at all costs, so I have genuinely no clue if he did anything

They're quite positive about him from what I can see. If they deemed him useful last season, it's a good sign.

JWP gone back to Southampton

Liked him when he was with us in a struggling team, he look calm, and dedicated

He is in a different league to anything we have currently in midfield

Good player. Get the feeling he didn't particularly enjoy his spell here that much

One of the toughest wanks of the weekend...

It’s easier if you scroll down a bit. Or up. Depends on your persuasion.

800k? What were West Ham thinking selling him to us as a Championship rival. Possibly one of the best signings we'll ever make for where we are.
