Charlie Wayman Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Was Eckert good because he spied on opponents or is he good anyway? With all the corruption going on in football worldwide, I am happy to forgive this relatively minor indiscretion and keep him here provided that the players are still prepared to work with him. I am hoping that if players like THB, Jander and Scienza are happy to give it another go then the rest will fall into line. We have the basis of a very good team assembled here and if we can keep 90% of it together then things might not turn out so badly in the end.

Going on Tuesday and back Sunday. Today was supposed to the start of a fantastic week… just need to wait until Tuesday now. Have loved Metallica since my teens in the late 80, and even though I have not seen them for about 12 years. Did not realise how lucky I was to see them for the first time at Donnington Monsters of Rock in 1991 where they supported AC/DC. It was crazy! 1

I think we is a good manager, but the whole thing snowballed. The team got more and more confident as we went along. If this lit stay together or the majority of them we are easel a playoff team (top 8). Keep them all and we would smash the league without the spying!
bangkoksaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Today I’m angry. Angry at the club and the total lack of communication. Like many I’ve spent significant amounts this season and the 2 ‘friendly’ semi final legs cost me an additional £400. We are being completely mugged off and the club are massively mis reading the room. Clearly things are going on behind the scenes but just bloody communicate it. They’re going to lose yet more fans and they certainly have no credit left in the bank
Badger Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Still the anger stage for me. Angry that: 1)We were stupid enough to do this in the first place 2)That we seemed to roll over and accept it without a better fight 3)That the name and reputation of the club has been brought down (although can live with that to some degree) 4)That Tonda has needlessly jeopardised the next few years - possibly longer - with the loss of players, and possibly self-destructed what looked a very bright future career. Hope the club (and him) can bounce back.

It’s only magnified by putting the TV on - replays of Saints beating Boro in the semi and then the start of the coverage of our day out at Wembley, only we’re not there. Fuck Tonda, Fuck Parsons, fuck Sport Republic, fuck the EFL, fuck Middlesbrough.
Midfield_General Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The stage I’m at is that right now they don’t deserve my support. They need to earn it back by showing leadership and taking action to show that they appreciate just how much damage they have done and that they want to put it right. Signs of that so far? Zero. I just feel totally disillusioned with the whole thing and totally disconnected. The lack of leadership and communication gets more and more staggering with each day that slips by. Apart from anything it shows a complete contempt for the fans who give so much to the club through thick and thin and who they have royally fucked over. Well, two can play at that game. You don’t give a shit about me? Then why should I give a shit about you. This is 100% on them, so until they show that they understand what they’ve done and make it clear they’re going to put it right, they can go fuck themselves. Edited 1 hour ago by Midfield_General
markr27 Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago The Club have not handled it very well - it has not even sent out a token mass-spam email about what does/doesn't/could/will happen now after the appeal was rejected. Sack the PR department.
Mr Brightside Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago Still angry. Angry with the club, angry with the EFL. The club. Ridiculously stupid thing to do, for only marginal gains, we deserve to be punished. Heads should roll and there should be a proper apology. The EFL. If there was a chance they would take (via the “independent” process) such drastic action they should never have allowed the games to go ahead, and selling Wembley tickets to us was crazy. Feel sorry for all the fans. Ours seem to have been forgotten about a bit in the media. We’re innocent in all this but it’s our dreams that have been shattered. Very harsh on Hull too. Given the outcome they should have been promoted. Why should Boro be in the final, why didn’t Wrexham take our place and the games played again? It’s a mesh. Now me saying Boro shouldn’t be in the final, it’s not because I have an axe to grind with them. Of course they were going to use what happened as a way of getting back in. Who can blame them, I’m sure we’d have done the same. We’d also have welcomed having someone with influence like Gibson in our corner. They shouldn’t be there because all season they couldn’t convert their chances, same in the play-offs. This is why they lost, not because of a kid hiding behind a tree. I’m also sure, if it was the other way around, Boro wouldn’t be happy about being kicked out. They would also say, like we are, and a lot in the media and the game, it’s way OTT and not a proportionate punishment. But we are where we are. Want the game to be over, Hull to go up, and we can think about rebuilding…
