What does everyone like when you go somewhere classy?

I quite like:

- Negroni

- Dirty martini (gin or vodka, 4:1, 1 olive brine) [got to be cold as Gibbo]

- Champagne, of course

- Sancerre 

- Sauternes 

- Tokaji 

- Skin contact ribolla giala (lovely Slovenian orange/pink wine)

- Azul

- Lagavulin / Laphraoig 

- Blantons single barrel

Don’t do classy often, more likely to find one of the good local pubs serving real ale or a high quality craft beer.

Mind you, our Cotswolds rose garden goes pretty nicely with a floral pale ale.

Quite liking a radler beer these days or the Japanese suntory drinks with vodka, shochu and lemon or grapefruit. Super refreshing. 

Otherwise its ginger ale, whiskey and slice of lime. Or full sugar coke with Jim Beam cherry liqueur.

You shouldn't get drunk on red wine but I do anyway. I sleep better and it's always fun to see the black shits in the toilet the next day. Similar to Guinness shits but not as bad as the own brand alcopops that Blu Bambu in Newcastle used to do to me, proper green Swan shit that was.
