He hasn't been 'cancelled' he has stepped down after some pretty serious allegations from multiple different sources. It's clearly in everybody's interest for him to step away from running a football club whilst this is investigated.

I'm not sure what's, "holier than thou pearl clutching," here either, what he's been accused of is pretty serious. Guilty or not, I'd like to think that 99% of people would never do the things these women are claiming.

I accept he may be a complete tool and maybe a nasty one and maybe he's guilty as sin, but sorry, one woman who admitted to having sex with him (after he promised her all the riches etc) said she couldn't remember if she said 'I don't want to do this' loud enough, or even at all. Sort of lost me on that to be honest.

Fucking hell, I’m really shocked things like this were going on . Those poor unfortunate birds, all they wanted to do was be glamour models & work for a porn baron, they can’t have suspected for one minute it was such a sleazy trade.
 

Let’s hope the industry has cleaned up its act & have safeguards in place to stop the exploitation & objectification of innocent chicks trying to forge a career in the porn business

There is a lot wrong with him. Go look up Mary Millington if you need more evidence. You don’t find many decent people making fortunes out of pimping and pornography.

Everyone knew he was a dirty little whatever. But just because you go into this industry (as a woman) doesn't mean men should be able to further exploit you. What decade it occured and however long it took someone to come forward - doesn't matter.

Even if it is/was commonplace it doesn't make it ok. And it's not left or right wing it's sexual assault and exploitation.

And now it's coming out that he was banned by his own club from children's and women's football. That is just shocking and links the club to all this in a way they've desperately tried to avoid so far. 

I hope that gets fully investigated, but I also hope it doesn't take any legal attention away from him.

Not only is it not crime of the century, it’s legal.

Mary Millington entered that industry of her own free will. She was a Brass from the late 60’s & only hooked up with Sullivan in 1974. To try and claim he somehow corrupted her is a stretch even for a radish like you. He made her one of the most famous chicks of the 70’s.
