East Kent Saint Posted Thursday at 18:51 Posted Thursday at 18:51 Wonder if they will get much interest?
Holmes_and_Watson Posted Thursday at 19:04 Posted Thursday at 19:04 I read a beeb article that said they had come up with a sales brochure that only mentioned the good things. So, lots on the PL win and probably their hotel and training complex. But nothing about their massive debt, already having mortgaged their future, their current league position or facing RussBall for a while. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce3qp0yy0j9o
Badger Posted Thursday at 19:04 Posted Thursday at 19:04 Bound to be a Fake Sheikh or two. If only to look to court the publicity for a few days.
Saint_clark Posted Thursday at 19:10 Posted Thursday at 19:10 Having a laugh at that much aren't they? 1
Disco Stu Posted Thursday at 19:20 Posted Thursday at 19:20 Interesting that 80% of Premier League Southampton cost Sport Republic just £100m yet League 1 Leicester value themselves at £200m. I won't pretend to understand the intricacies of how clubs are valuated but either their asking price is extortionate or ours was dirt cheap. 1
Cuddles Posted Thursday at 20:50 Posted Thursday at 20:50 The owners have watched 90 minutes of Russball and thrown the towel in. 12
CSA96 Posted Thursday at 21:19 Posted Thursday at 21:19 Aren't they still £103m in debt? £303m for a League One club without debt is a huge commitment... I don't really see why anyone would try to complete a deal before it returns to being a Championship club and bringing the debt down some more
Chez Posted yesterday at 07:33 Posted yesterday at 07:33 I think it might be that they valued the assets (ground, training ground, players etc) at £200m (training ground is valued at £121m for example). Doesn't mean anyone is paying that kind of amount especially considering the debt, how their loans were organised and the potential costs/losses over the next few years.

Great fan base and will save you about £190m. Sure they probably have some debt too but not to the level of Leicester.
warsash saint Posted yesterday at 09:09 Posted yesterday at 09:09 What's this got to do with Saints?? Why is everyone obsessed still with them & Martin?? 1
East Kent Saint Posted yesterday at 09:30 Author Posted yesterday at 09:30 Saints were sold twice and people have speculated about another sale , so if Leicester sell the price is relevant . Etc

Didnt Dragan have to take on £100m of debt plus the purchase price when he took over, so £200m in total?

AlexLaw76 Posted yesterday at 11:43 Posted yesterday at 11:43 Surely that valuation includes the debt they have.
Saint Fan CaM Posted yesterday at 12:37 Posted yesterday at 12:37 It’s a lot of money, however the property re-development potential to build new flats for migrants will be hugely tempting to someone. 🤣😉 1
East Kent Saint Posted yesterday at 14:18 Author Posted yesterday at 14:18 Have you been to Leicester ?
