Games coming thick and fast now. I would assume FD misses out, as per head injury protocol? The transfer window closes an hour after this game finishes, so hopefully it’ll be the last time wondering about which players are here next week.

Maybe Fellows in / Matsuki out for rotational purposes, and JWP in for Downes, otherwise keep it as is.

Saints 3-1 Stoke (4 goals)

Saints 1-4 WHU (5 goals)

Saints 5-1 Millwall (6 goals)

So will there be 7 goals at Birmingham on Tuesday?!

Tonda suggested cut only, no concussion protocol. Guess they will have to see if his eye closes up and if the stitches need more time or if he can be available.

That is for concussion. May just be a bad cut. Eckert didn't seem overly concerned and thought he might be ok for Tuesday.

Looking at the photo I'd be surprised if he was risked on Tuesday. Wouldn't take much to knock it back open and he'd be straight off again for more treatment.

Always thought that was a fake photo. After our statement win today, a win here really could set up our season because the games get a little easier after this.

Dorrige is a 20 minute train journey away (although on the route out back south). Is there really no place to park within walking distance of the stadium?

Birmingham away = tough fixture,  got a 1-1 there last season can see similar again. 

A win would be massive and take us above Birmingham,  we could really start to forget about the -4 then

On to Brum, another dominant performance required and we can start to pick up where we left off last season.

Scienza is key when he’s taking on defenders, especially now JWP is back. Drawing fouls around the box will get us goals this season. Just need to make sure he’s not kicked out of the game like he was at Watford.

It is unlikely to distract the players in the heat of a match.

A return ticket from Solihull is £3:50 without a railcard.

West Ham and Burnley could make things difficult for themselves if they can’t find their feet soon. 
 

For Saints another chance to make a statement win at a tough place to go, they like to have lots of the ball and we’ll have to be patient. 
Might be one of those games that’s tougher for Azaz to affect the game as much. 
 

4 points from Millwall and Birmingham wouldn’t be a bad return but we do need as many points on the board as possibly to keep ourselves in touch.

Your car would be safer parked at Solihull than Bordesley. Latter not the best area of Brum (although the streets around Villa Park aren’t much better tbf).

I remember going up to Liverpool for a game many years ago and two things stick out in my mind.
The first was an approach by a couple of young lads offering to 'look after' a supporters car.
The driver responded with..'No need lads, I've got an alsatian in my car'.. to which one of the lads said..'is he any good at replacing wheels?..
Nearer Anfield, there was a church with a big sign outside which said...'What would you do if Jesus returned?...to which someone had scrawled underneath...'Move St John to Inside Right'...

Disappointed that THB has finally gone, but we have one centre back replacement and the team spirit seems to be strong. Hoping and expecting a win because there's goals in our team and we're not relying on just one or two people to score.

We used Hennessy’s as well as mates local but again it’s mainly home as long as no colours fine.
