If things stay as they are and we could be confirmed down by the end of march, start of april. So, Saturday evening then . Surely, in theory, if we lose every game from now on (unlikely, I know, but humour me) and all the other results go against us in the worst possible way there will be a date on which we can all relax and accept the inevitable? Still very difficult to predict as I'm sure a lot of teams around us have to play each other and I don't fancy trawling around sites working out combinations. My reckoning is if we, in theory, lost every game up to the Palace game (Easter Monday) then that will be the point we will be mathematically relegated. I looked at the possibility of the Blackpool game (21st March) but as I said I didn't know who had to play who around us. I will do the predictor tomorrow. Yes, I have been toying with various results and I've tweaked it a bit further. Above 4th from bottom it's pretty tight so I think we're 'safe' until then. It looks like the away game with Blackpool is crucial, then. Win that and we should be safe for another week. St Marco Posted 19 February, 2009 Share Posted 19 February, 2009 Did the predictor and was as honest as i could be. Had us win 3, draw 4 and lose 7. Total of 13 points from the 14 games. Which is actually higher points per game then we currently have. Sadly that won't be enough to save us, nowhere near it My table looks like this 18 - Doncaster 53 pts 19 - Norwich 52 pts 20 - Derby 51 pts 21 - Forest 50 pts ------------------ 22 - Plymouth 46 pts 23 - Charlton 43 pts 24 - Southampton 41 pts Which means we could be confirmed down by Fri 10th April (Wolves) or Mon 13th April (Palace). Of course that means we have to actually win pretty much 25% of our remaining games, seeing as we have won once in our last 15 games think that could be a problem....
