Window Cleaner Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 So then, someone must have some hearsay or conjecture on yesterdays board meeting? Why??? with it being just the 4 of them now there are vastly fewer leaks.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 25 February, 2009 Author Share Posted 25 February, 2009 Why??? with it being just the 4 of them now there are vastly fewer leaks. Funny, cos we always tend to hear something. We haven't even got the merry band of ITKers making stuff up. Is everyone truly stumped?
Frank's cousin Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 Should not stop some lag posting that the insider infor tell us this and that and within 50 posts and 27 minutes its become FACT ! ;-) (well at least an urban myth)

RoswellSaint Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 Why??? with it being just the 4 of them now there are vastly fewer leaks. Last week we were told that, with this board meeting, the end was nigh. Sources had told two of our respected posters.
Weston Saint Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 I said I was told a board meeting 3 weeks time and the last board meeting was on the day of the Sheffield United game. I was not told a specific date, just three weeks. I have not heard anything else since but if my source reads this I am sure he will ring me if his information was right or wrong. Window Cleaner Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 Last week we were told that, with this board meeting, the end was nigh. Sources had told two of our respected posters. Perhaps the sources were less respectable than the posters. They're waiting to see how the next few games pan out. If we look like staying up or have a decent chance of it the "board" will find whatever cash is needed (within reason). You must remember the significance of the new TV revenue which comes on stream next season.

benjii Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 If it was any other bunch of incumbents I would find the notion of a meeting only every three weeks quite galling. As it's this bunch, I am quite relieved they are rarely around.
