I know loads of very wealthy saints fans, they don't want to waste their hard earned money though buy the club.

**** even i could stick £1000 in to get in the programme, but really can't be arsed. I have better things to spend that money on.

On radio hampshire, Mark Dennis was talking about two mentioned by Fry and said he personally knows a (not quoting can't remember exactly) rich Southampton fan based in Switzerland who he has heard today is interested in buying saints.

Around time he interviewed Andy Townsend.

It wouldn't be Stephen Urquhart, who's President of Omega and senior Board Member of the Swatch Group? He's got joint UK and Swiss citizenship and the UK arm is based in Eastleigh (who donated the stadium clock)? :smt102

You see Trousers? Anyone can do this conspiracy theory stuff!! Simples!!

Another one on that Business Times link is J Magnier, a horse owner.

I wonder if Mike Channon knows him?

Or keep a watch on who is sat there this week..!!

Actually he reminds me of a former statue I used to know.Wonder if his arms are disproportionately long as well.

I'm sure he could make things tick over, probably hasn't got much time on his hands though.

Mind you,he wouldn't be hands on,so on the face of it,it would be quite alarming if it were him.

Coat,got.

Will he be able to balance our books I wonder. Let's hope there's some movement soon.

Are there two coats on your hook?

Lets hope it is true;we deserve a lucky break so perhaps the pendulem will swing in our favour.

Expect the rumour is b0ll0cks though, and its a consortium of our old friends 'Barry the Toblerone' and Lifelongcuckooclock.

Wagner was German you mung bean.....

Wagner was born in Leipzig in 1813 which admittedly is in modern Germany. However Germany as a unified nation didn't exist until 1871, even if you really stretch the definition it didn't exist before 1814. Which means that Wagner was born as a citizen of the Austro-Hungarian empire.

Wagner was Austrian you mung bean...

-sorry did that post from memory, it seems Saxony was an independent state in 1813 so...

Wagner was Saxon you mung bean...

-which just seems odd
