Could this save us?

Do Barclays & Aviva really want the publicity from killing us off. We spent 27 years in the top flight & played in the cup final only 6 years ago, we are gonna replace Acrington Stanley & Aldershot as the clubs that died.

How many lost current accounts & insurance switches would happen in Hampshire after that I wonder?

How many Saints supporters have already switched from Barclays moved the goalposts on the club's debt? Not many I would venture. Apathy rules OK.

In the current economic climate nobody is going to give anybody the 'sympathy vote'. Live and work beyond your means at your peril - the banks do not give one iota.

As Dave Whelan has been saying for some time - a big club (he intimated that if could be a Premier League club) could very well take a big fall and cease to exist. Who knows - it could be us...!!!

We won't survive by virtue of a sympathy vote in the cut throat business world of professional football - no way.

Ironic though considering tehir premier league sponsorship - but fairly typical in that teh authorities and general public care opnly about the the armchair masses sat on thei rbackksides watching the top four on sky, not the vast majority of true football fans who go to support their local teams up and down the country week in week out... The irony of how Sky has ruined football for the true fans (apart perhaps from teh CL qualifers) never ceases to amaze me when they patthemselves on teh back for their new Premierleague contracts....

Its a shame, especially when you look at the billions pumped into the banks to keep them afloat due to over spending and they can then effectively destroy a key aspect of thousands of peoples lives and not shed a tear as long as their chief execs keep living the good life they dont care about us one little bit

Exactly, billions of pounds of our money as well. It's a ****ing disgrace when you think about it.

Would protests outside their branches in town help highlight the bad PR it would cause?

We couldn't even get the alleged 70 zillion anti-Lowe unsupporters to turn up outside the ground on a Saturday when there was a home game in order to complain, what chance do you think "mildly perturbed at having our overdraft cut six months ago" is going to have of selling itself as a reason for moral outrage ?

Besides, not that I'm advocating it, but a few bricks and red spray cans overnight would do the PR job much more effectively and with less hassle.

There would be a fair few people with Saturdays free who could plan it.

I recently changed my car insurance away from Norwich Union !

I'd love to say it was in protest over the Saints but sadly it was just because of their total incompetence and particularly in relation to their useless call centre in India (not racist, just a fact)!

Anyway that's me done my bit !!!
