  1. Agreed, still buzzing from the perfect away day. Brilliant performances all round, and we’re just so much better when Stuey is on the pitch. Top player.
  2. Damn…another thirty seconds or so and it would have been Kidderminster!
  3. Please keep us updated. Suspect a lot of people in the same position. Like me for 4 tickets…
  4. Yeah, another year on loan would be fantastic - he’s the real deal. No way on earth we’ll be able to afford to bid for him. If Chelsea even dreamed of letting him go, Newcastle and Arsenal would both bid £30m plus. Best hope, if he’s not keeping Lukaku on the bench at the Bridge next season, is another season on loan knowing he’ll be the main man here.
  5. Atmosphere in the away end for the last fifteen mins of the first half was quality. Two goals in five mins in an evening away game in London may be as good as it gets this season. Broja and Tella were both excellent and Shane did his job when he came on - including a wee bit of Zaha shithousing - so I don’t quite get the hate. Gallagher was the best player on the pitch by a country mile though IMO. Fully expect to see him and Broja starting for Chelski next season.
  6. Yup - yours if you want it. Send me mobile or email and I'll get in contact.
  7. No idea if we’ve sold out, but I now have one spare ticket face value for Dellhurst tomorrow. Let me know if you’re interested.
  8. Another £150+ on tickets, food, drink, travel for inevitable disappointment. And it really was inevitable. How many times did we give the ball away in extra time? 4? We couldn’t hold a lead even if we ran a dog show. Still going to Palace and back at SMS for Brentford though. Mug.
  9. Great atmosphere in the away end, top drawer shithousing of Mount when he was warming up, nearly took the roof off when Fraser saved his penalty, and a brilliant effort from the lads. Chelsea fans as awful as ever. Standouts for me: Fraser - some great saves Lyanco - legend Tino - just for warming up in front of the Chelski fans Salisu - immense Diallo - was everywhere Tella - proper nippy Shane - excellent when he came on
  10. We need to be getting ten points bare minimum from those next five, and I’d be disappointed with anything less than eleven.
  11. It goes from bad to worse. This is shocking from Saints. Sponsored by a PR company masquerading as an educational trust, trying to persuade fans to buy dodgy financial products https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2021-09-24/southampton-fc-welcome-learncryptocom-as-official-partner Don’t sell the club’s reputation to the highest bidder. It’s ours. Sort it out.
  12. Lyanco Evangelista Silveira Neves Vojnović is the king of the scummers… Catchy.
  13. Yeah, I mean what was the club supposed to do - kidnap them? Neither we’re going to sign a contract. If we play the market well - and we’ve not done badly so far this summer - we’ll get a better younger player than Vestergaard. Losing Ings was always going to be difficult - but Armstrong and Broja are very decent replacements fir our budget. I actually think Broja could catch fire if given the chance.
  14. Jannik seems like a decent bloke and I wish him well. But my lasting memory of him will be his first ever appearance, pre-season away at Derby. God knows why we went, but we did. On he comes as a sub and we’re all thinking blimey he’s massive, this is gonna be epic, we’re gonna win the lea… and the first thing he does is fall on his arse and give Derby’s centre forward (who might even have been the annoying runt who used to play for Pompey) a free run in on goal to score. We lost 3-0. Apart from the majestic diagonals, it rarely got any better. Next please.
  15. Have you been talking to Matt on the golf course again? 🤣 COYR
  16. Maybe £15m plus Obafemi on loan for the season? That would suit everyone
  17. Only if he’s got a decent long throw on him
  18. Like most Saints articles in The Athletic it doesn’t really tell most fans much that they didn’t know already Wouldn’t be surprised if the main forward we sign hasn’t been mentioned in any of these ITK articles. Of the names that are out there I still think Armstrong is the most likely. But that’s just a hunch.
  19. The problem with Abraham is he’s too deer.
  20. Not sure why all the bitterness. Danny always put a shift in, he kept us in the division, he scored some crackers, he got two at Fratton, and now he’s moved on. So should we. Looking forward to the Bilbao game and hoping Tino might get some minutes off the bench towards the end.
  21. My Chelsea mate who watches the yoof reckons he’s the business. Could be time for a Dexy’s Midnight Runners rendition… Tino, Tino Tino, Tino etc I’ll probably get up in the morning and find he’s signed for Brighton.
  22. Looked decent. Won a few corners with the revolutionary tactic of taking on his man on the outside and driving forward
  23. Hard not to argue that Brighton building a better squad than us though. They just need a goalscorer
  24. Title says it all https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/15588598/portsmouth-investigate-racist-leaked-chat-england/?rec_article_amp_dpa=true
  25. I don’t think it’s just about providing injury cover. One of our problems last season was that our full backs had to cover so much ground that performance started to dip after an hour and the whole team suffered because our style of play relies so much on the FBs. So, if you have a third quality full back you can rotate and regularly replace one or the other after 60mins, with people like Stephens and Ramsay providing extra injury cover. If we spend 6.5 mill over a season on a third quality full back and end up three or four places higher as a result, the loan pays for itself and everybody wins.
