Massive fan of the new kit and the images of The Dell and St Mary’s. Just a shame about that bloody betting ad. Hummel have done a really good job this year. I’d happily pay £10 more per shirt to get it without Sportsbet or any other crap ad. Until that happens, it’s training kit for me. Seems like a decent analysis. And right about Ings - whichever of those 12 bottom clubs has a regular (and fit) goal scorer will almost certainly stay up. Although we could also do with conceding about 20 fewer goals.

Unless we get a change of owner I’m kind of at peace with relegation next season or the one after and then hopefully rebuilding from there in the championship. If there was loads of talent coming through the academy there might be some hope, but it seems that there isnt any with no money and no home grown prospects I don’t see where we go from here. Let’s hope we have a really good window, and find some inspiration somewhere.

Also broadly agree, but it’s the subs routine that does my head in. I coulda/shoulda put money on the first sub on being Che after 75 mins with two more on with no time left. Same every time. We were shite in the first half, he’s got most of his squad back from injuries, so why not shake it up at half time? Never happens.

Man, that was piss poor. And utterly predictable that we wouldnt make any subs before they’d helped themselves to a third and the game was dead. Inexcusably bad. Roll on Sunday.

The only hope I can see at the moment is that over the last 12 games Newcastle have only won two more points than us, and don't look like getting many more (they've got Brighton away next). The annoying thing is that three of their points were when they played us with nine men. That game, and this one, were just as sickening as the calamity at Old Trafford.

Against stiff competition that was the worst second half of the season. And I include Man Utd. Not sure where we go from here. Bournemouth away looks dodgy that’s for sure.

We were crap, and they were only marginally better. Armstrong and Tella the only bright sparks. Tella ahead of Redmond all day against Sheffield, and why not give N’lundulu a start up top because Che wouldn’t score at the moment if we played them twice. Maybe Minamino and/or Diallo will be back cos we need a spark from somewhere. Still think we’ll make 40 points easily, but something has gone badly wrong in ‘21.

If KWP is still out, and Diallo and Romeu are also out, Ramsay at RB and Jankewitz in Centre Mid please. No more of this pissing around with players out of position. Bednarek is a more than decent CB but he didn’t stand a chance tonight on the flank. if we lose with Ramsay and Jankewitz so be it, we’re getting beaten anyway by playing people out of position. On a more positive note, we’re playing so badly in the league that I’m getting more and more convinced we’re going to get to the Cup Final. Mind you, my lottery numbers didn’t come up last week.
