We were crap, and they were only marginally better. Armstrong and Tella the only bright sparks. Tella ahead of Redmond all day against Sheffield, and why not give N’lundulu a start up top because Che wouldn’t score at the moment if we played them twice. Maybe Minamino and/or Diallo will be back cos we need a spark from somewhere. Still think we’ll make 40 points easily, but something has gone badly wrong in ‘21.

If KWP is still out, and Diallo and Romeu are also out, Ramsay at RB and Jankewitz in Centre Mid please. No more of this pissing around with players out of position. Bednarek is a more than decent CB but he didn’t stand a chance tonight on the flank. if we lose with Ramsay and Jankewitz so be it, we’re getting beaten anyway by playing people out of position. On a more positive note, we’re playing so badly in the league that I’m getting more and more convinced we’re going to get to the Cup Final. Mind you, my lottery numbers didn’t come up last week.

Take a bow son! I thought he offered absolutely nothing when he came on against Wolves last week, but he was brilliant today. Never gave up, always tracking back, taking people on, running around like a dervish. Salisu did well but Moussa MotM for me. More of the same please.

Agreed - and it needs to be plan A against Chelsea, nick a first half goal and then hold it. Like against the dippers. Simple.
-
Game on then. `Zero to hero.

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

If you don't think we've got a decent shot of beating Leeds either home or away I'm not sure I can help you. We'll stay up easily. And hopefully have a cup final. But in an empty stadium. -
Move JWP to RB, play Armstrong centre mid v Chelsea and once he's served his three match ban bring Jankewitz in v Leeds and hope he lasts more than two minutes. Adjusts tin hat and takes cover

I know most people are saying they never want Mike Dean to ref or VAR us ever again. But when we finally get past this god awful pandemic who would you rather have as ref for the first game back at St Marys with a full house? Immense entertainment and terrace banter.
-
Only if it’s in the final. Imagine the exchange of pleasantries around the stadium afterwards.
-
If you could choose between winning the Cup in the next three years, or beating any premier league team anywhere 10-0 - which would it be? Yeah, I know it's the Cup. But 10-0 would be sweet, and shut them all up 👊

Yes indeed. I thought I'd stumbled on to a QAnon forum last night by mistake. Talking of wold conspiracies, maybe Big Al will come of the bench to score the winner in the cup final. Against Utd of course. After a foul by McTominey. Funny old game, football.
-
LOL at the people who think he did it deliberately to get sent off on purpose. Have a word. if we can keep it under 6 from here that’s a result. Regroup, get a few first teamers back, and go for it in the cup.

Lines on the departure of a club legend: So farewell then Shane Long. You scored after seven seconds Against Watford. That was awesome. And the away end Went mental.
-
Kayne Ramsey and Will Ferry come on down. I remember Ramsey being pretty decent when he was suddenly chucked in against Man City about three years ago. Was that his only appearance?
-
I know some people wanted him to erupt at the shit officials, but I thought Ralph was class in that response. And you can see how much he cared.
-
If even Roy Keane thinks we should have had a pen and a goal in injury time, that says it all. Dean and Mason were predictably shamefully atrocious and everything possible went against us. Just have to move on, accept it’s a mid-table season, and hope we keep the cup run going. Bollocks, really. COYR

Mate if you find us boring to watch, what the hell did you think of the Puel/Pellegrino years FFS? I’m enjoying watching us more then I have in years - we just can’t buy a goal at the moment and we need Ings to step up.
-
Totally agree. He's been immense this season, and if you can't see that I can't help you. The minutes on the pitch, the amount of ground covered, the consistency are all staggering. Not to mention of course the one aspect of his game in which we as a club have a genuinely world-class player - his free kicks. And he reached the landmark of 300 games last night. Keep it up Prowsey!
-
Exactly. He's probably pissed off because he's been off it tonight. Stuey's been carrying the front line.
-
On the bright side - Stuey's been on fire
-
Now you've gone too far. Kevin Danso returns?

Class reaction from Ralph to the Lampard sacking: "It’s not interesting what my reaction was, I have other issues in the moment to think about. It’s part of the business." Love this man.
-
God, most of you lot are a bunch of miserable bastards. 2-0, 4 teenage debuts, first teamers not too stretched, job done. Roll on the gooners.

Probably “His name is Kegs Chauke He really hates Pompey” clap clap clap clap
