They're all rumours but a lot of them seem legit. Harwood-Bellis would be great, on loan or even better permanent. He knows how to win this league. But plenty of others circling - if he doesn't come here I hope he doesn't go to Leicester. Forest and others also interested. Patrick Roberts would make sense if Tella goes to Germany, and Djed Spence would make sense if someone comes in for KWP. Duk would be great because of the song potential.

The favourable terms on the Downes deal seems to me to be the key bit in the Prowsey transfer for us. If Downes ends up getting us promoted - and my WHU mate reckons he'll boss the Championship - then it's worth a hell of a lot more than insisting on £40m for JWP. Great business.

The chances of JWP going to the Euros are very low, whether he's in the PL or the Championship. I'm sure he's figured out that Southgate rates him a bit, but doesn't rate him enough.
