  1. Aggressors of the uniform plane.
  2. What would you call a team who specialise in beating only the worst teams?
  3. I loved the Getty centre, it's just lovely. But too far out and would swallow up your entire day. Basically forget I suggested it. Santa Monica is a much better idea.

The "cold hard skinny" is we will never be a true top four team. We might finish top four this season, it's still unlikely, but possible. Either way, we are never going to do it regularly. Get used to it. You might be supporting the wrong team if all you want to do is bundle out the excellent players that worked hard to get us to the position we are now in. There are other teams to fulfil your all-killer no-filler squad requirements. That Chelsea look pretty good. Check em out. Top four, like, all the time and that.
  5. The perfect crime. In that world Mark Lawrenson is a SFC hero with his "Saints will lose" motivational articles. Probably worth a statue outside SMS.
  6. Interesting you got the same idea I had from the reams of gushing coverage I've seen, read and heard too. Not noticed all the stories designed to destabilise us, then? Me neither.
  7. We will never be "ready for it" any better than now. If we get it next season, in either comp, great. It will almost inevitably impact our league form - we can't expect to fight on that many fronts and not suffer. A European adventure and mid table Prem sounds okay to me. With our resources and approach, expecting Euro football every season is pretty fanciful. Take it when it comes.
  8. That's always the risk when we have a Steve Wigley standard manager.
  9. I blame the kit, how about you?

SFC will never have a team of pure top 4 talent. Get used to it. If we get into the top 4 this season it will be down to the likes of Davis busting their balls to oblivion to achieve it.
  11. They just cannot wait for us to lose. Or something.
  12. Just looking for Pompey related Ebola news and notice this forum's very own Fitzhugh Fella has managed to completely mug himself off by trying to pretend PFC's agent fees were higher than Burnley's. Whoops. Let's stick to laughing at the facts shall we.
  13. Not sure that would help him get into character, Bear. The "Paul Merson" we all adore is built on the relentless attention to detail to achieve that bloke-in-the-pub know - nothing persona. I'd say it takes a heck of effort to avoid that much information when so much is out there in today's multimedia world. If anything the man should be applauded.
  14. I took about two months for lots of people on here to even accept the Shaw to United story as not being completely made up by lying scumbag journalists.
  15. Someone, somewhere is banging their fist on a table. "We've been paid bloody good money to destabilise these fuc kers. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"
  16. Presumably the "come on, destabilise Southampton for us" financial offer from the big clubs wasn't substantial enough. I imagine Oliver Kay will "fall down some stairs" sometime in the next week or so.
  17. Why do you need "evidence that Robbie Savage can write"? Who cares? It's a analysis piece from Savage written up by a journalist in a format that has been around since just after the invention of ink.
  18. I imagine the big clubs will pay some other journalists to beat up this journalist to destabilise him. Or something.
  19. He did, he's talked about that several times already.
  20. Dont worry about loyalty, completely over rated. Mitchell wasn't loyal to MK Dons when we came knocking two years ago and Tadic, Mane, Pelle weren't loyal to their clubs, they jumped to us. We march on.
  21. That was well worth waiting three weeks for.
  22. And those young kids could definitely learn a bit about first-throw-in spread bet scams. Proper values from a proper role model. That's what's needed.
  23. Unnecessary and inaccurate comparison to Blackpool who had a flirt with fourth place after about three games in August, not quite the same as being second place at the end of November. We're punching above our weight, but nothing we have achieved is a fluke. We're very good right now. No Saints fan will take this game for granted, Clough has a decent record in cup football and anything can happen in a cup tie.
  24. 4,000 is immense, looking like we will sell that easily. Nice to see the magic of cup football alive and well.
