  1. I was very romantic, which is ****ing unusual for me. Proposed under Juliets balcony in Verona, quite discrete it was too, didn't make a song and dance about it. Seem to remember i got ridden within an inch of my life later that night, so it had some benefit.
  2. I hope the team have more backbone than you bunch of ponces. Jesus, what a load of pussy's. Ooooo I'm so nervous, Ooooo my botty is really squeaky, Ooooo I need to sit down for a ****, Oooooo i think i will have a little cry over a ****ing football game. FFS!

    Guly

There is always a player who is a scapegoat for the fans. Even KD was at one stage (although now the sun shines out of his arse, obviously) just as there are ropey players who can do no wrong (at least for a bit anyway, e.g. Skacel). FWIW i think it is unfair to target Guly, perhaps the fans wanted to keep hold of Papa Waigo and Guly was seen an a cheap replacement from the Don, but he's not a bad player and when his confidence is up, he can influence a lot in a game.
  4. It's called excrement

Classic the other week. Watching in bed with the wife. She says "That Damien Lewis is quite nice" 10 seconds lter his character tells his wife to kneel down whilst he bangs one out all over her tits. I say "i guess he isn't so nice now?" "No" she says and turns the TV off!! SUNDAYNIGHTLOLAGE
  6. Yes, but his first touch is awful, he didn't turn or lay off, he didn't find the line or offer an outlet. Poor game from Sharp. Like him and hope he'll display more with his game, just see RL as crucial to promotion as he has no back up, except for chung.
  7. Hopefully he'll come good, but today he's been dreadful.
  8. **** that! I love it when we win and hate it when we lose. This evening is now shi1te!
  9. Getting spanked. ****ing embarrassing. Absolute gash.
  10. Reminds me of the wife. .....she often looks at her shoes as well.
  11. The country is still wading through ****. The Labour party got us there and the Coalition seem to be doing their best to ensure we stay there as long as possible, so undoubtedly there was a backlash against mainstream politics. Although not familiar with the local political landscape i wouldn't be suprised if the London-centric party animials really were half arsed in their attempts to secure votes, leaving the way for GG to embark on a focused campaign that the locals felt was genuine and meant something to them.
  12. It will be a cracking game. I love this stage of the season and far more this year because of our league position. Looking forward to tomorrow afternoon!
  13. If you want. Personally i've never understood the ferocity of hatred, but there you go.
  14. No, not really. Basking in other peoples misfortune is more odious, imho.
  15. That's just what i was thinking.
  16. Nothing to do with any impending strike action. From what i hear the Liverpool Echo offered a prize to anyone willing to drive Andy Carroll back to Newcastle and there are quite a few takers.
  17. Look out for the pampas grass in the front garden.
  18. Well, they haven't exactly "written off" the money, but, i assume, have taken the view that the value of the club will increase enough to make the decision decent business sense for the future, making it more likely that they will sell part of, if not all, the club in the future. They are protecting their investment for a) the current trading position (which is presumably running at a loss and as someone else has said, makes the balance sheet look much better in the short term) and b) future viability for a (partial) sale or float, which, of course. if done properly is no bad thing at all.
  19. OK thanks
  20. Does anyone know who the geezers in the photo are?
  21. Can't find any for hire, but I'm sure they could tap Mr Birch up for a few quid to pay for some of these http://gypsywaggons.co.uk/varforsale.htm
  22. I looked at the scheme at Stoke after your post and it seems as though they had major problems to overcome with all the statutory authorities (they had none and had to run all services in from a nearby town!) and flood plain drainage which, i suspect, added greatly to the cost, so i would be reluctant to use that as a guide. About £1,300 / m2 GIA would be right for this sort of facility (don't know what the GIA is though). The smaller academy players buildings would be c. £1,200 / m2.

    Turf

It's quite simple, just make sure to peg it at the edges and keep it watered well. If you don't need an instant lawn, you could try seeding the area as that will be a lot cheaper and (i think) now is a good time.
  24. From memory the scheme is about 1,500 m2 of building. The build will cost c. £1,300 / m2 with the fixtures and fitting on top. I think there was also some minor external works and small pitch side stands for the training pitch, so I would estimate the facility to be about £2.5 to £3m, all in. NC wouldn't waste money in order to play bertie-big-********.
