How can people judge on a handful of sub appearances? Give him an extended run in the team and then see. Personally i think he is a very useful player. And last night at least he pushed the play 15 yards further up the pitch, which the starting 11 found impossible.
-
Thought he played well tonight. Wouldn't have minded him coming here at all in the summer.

If the excuse is that we were missing 3 players, we'd better hope not to get promoted as we'd get battered every week. For me, there was enough talent to get a result of sorts, even it if it was a draw. Trouble is NA again started with the wrong formation and we were overrun in midfield. The momentum and tempo went with Leicester and that was it. This season has been built on home form and if this now deserts us, we will slip out of the play off places. The next 6 games will be very interesting.

Oh dear, very poor. Bad formation from the start cost us. Getting found out by teams now.
-
Maybe, but i can't see Adkins dropping Hammond, Morgan, Cork or Chaplow (when he comes back). I reckon he could get more of a look in away from home to some of the tough teams we have to play, when we go with 1 up front. IMHO of course.

He may get a few sub appearances, but i wouldn't expect him to play a big part in the run in, unless we have a crippling injury list.

Fair enough for a fighting ship, full of rough-ty tough-ty semen (oops, seamen) like delldays, but not a floating gin palace for the over privileged.

I thought Trond Soldvedt did very well for us. Fabrice Fernandes infuriated, but was perfect supply for Beattie. Carlton Palmer was really quite good when he played for us. Mark Wright was picked up for a paltry £80k. Mick Mills was ok for less than 50k. Richard Hall turned out to be brilliant, although wasn't sure when he signed. Colin Clarke came from Bompey, but had one good year?!?!

I cannot see how building a big, ****-off ship will lift the morale of the country, especially if Brenda and the gang get to swan off on it to the sun a couple of times a year. Irrespective of how it is funded (and it doesn't look like public money is being considered) how on earth would it benefit the country, other than prove to be a bolthole for s****y do's for the Royals and minor commonwealth leaders? Waste of time and a ****-poor idea. Hope it's ditched without any further consideration.

Yeah, start in teh middle and tile outwards. If you're tiling onto new plaster, it is good advice to use a primer on the walls and make sure you allow for some wasteage. My tile cutting, although good, resulted in a few more breaks and chips than i bargained for, which is a pain if the tiles have to be ordered. One of the lads on this forum did my kitchen (good job too, Ben!) and maybe i should have let him do the tiling too! Good luck!

The barber shop on Howard Road, by the Foyes Corner lights. Good lads in there, good banter and 9 quid for a cut.

I think it's a great idea to remember in some small way, with something that is tasteful and discrete. Maybe we could do something at half time, like get Lawrie Mac to go in goal, dressed up as an iceberg and Mike Osman try and score a penalty, whilst donning a gurt big pair of fake, but realistic, Kate Winslet Bristols. I think it's a winner, bringing together football and history (and tits, of course).

I think he's on UI.

Very good! And that old chestnut which can be used to celebrity cook types "I thought i saw your name on a loaf of bread the other day. But I made a mistake, it actually said Thick Cut"

Is quite a common occurrance, either through thinning out the paint or toshing out a wall before the plaster has dried properly. Poor old brush always ends up putting on another coat or two.

Cheap, nasty racial stereotyping that is not remotely humourous? Hmmm, where have i read that before?

In terms of quality, i#d put them on a level with a mid table PL club, who could do well if they get a quality manager (O Neill took Celtic the UEFA final a few years ago), but they are huge clubs in terms of support and few PL clubs have either the numbers or the fervour that they do. The supporters i've met have been spot on too, generally very knowledgable and good fun too. and going to an old firm derby is like nothing else.

The Radio Solent team are generally very good value and i like listening to them. Suprises me that some get so wound up about them tbh.

Attitude problem or not, he needs to be in contention (if only to dress it up as putting him in the shop window). The main trouble will be the grief he'll get from the fans though. Better to play him away from home, starting Saturday!

Far too young. RIP.

We've had some good luck in the first half of the season. Things turning a little bit now and this will be a test for NA and NC, as well as the team. Hopefully a couple of decent signings will liven things up a bit and bring another dimension to the play as we are a bit "obvious" at the moment. Still very hopeful of a top 6 finish.

Very good!!

Bratislava is small, but perfectly formed! Depends on what is on the agenda. If you go to Berlin, don't organise it on the same weekend as the big gay pride type party thing, as happened on my mates staggers. Fun for about an hour, then got very annoying.

Has anyone got a picture of a pot and a picture of a kettle to post up? Thanks.

The same can be said of the empires of France, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Russia, oh, and Germany (to name a few). We aren't the only ones who've been exploitative. The point above the highlight is interesting and, of course, entirely valid. But i question how many actually accord their actions with their humanitarian beliefs? Not many I bet and on that basis, trumpeting "UK PLC" is, at least, consistent and honest. But there are those who nail their humanitarian (and ecological) colours to the mast to display their moral vigour, but act in ways quite inconsistent with this. I can't speak for Dune, but I know it winds me up.
