Last year we had a few chavs knock on the door with a **** poor rendition of Silent Night. They forgot the words after "all is calm". So i didn't give them any money and found a turd outside my gate in the morning. Human or dog i don't know. Bastards!

What, banging her? Depends on how long your mate lasted. You may well get the early vinegars with a new Doris, so be sure to knock one out a few hours before you go nuts deep, just to keep on the right side of time. And give her one from me too, i'm going through a lean patch at the mo'

In the absence of any factual information (chances are?!?) i prefer to rely on the actual events, i.e. trial and conviction. He was released on "compassionate" grounds and there are plenty of people who support this, but show no compassion to the failing health of an ex PM of this country. That's really my point; selective false emotion. Over the years i've seen posts on here ranging from "wouldn't **** on her is she was on fire" to "can't wait til she's dead". Really quite sad IMHO, the nasty, pernicious diatribes that only she seems to attract. It seems quite a trendy thing to do, hate Thatcher, when i bet most of those spouting this bull were nowhere near a ****ing miners strike or Toxteth or St Pauls during the 80's.
-
We live in a country where the same people who will be glad to see Thatcher dead are the same people who were happy to see set free a convicted mass murderer just so he could go back to Libya and enjoy the rest of his days as a martyr. ****ed up doesn't even begin to explain it.

IMHO we should have sent out a stronger team and gone for a win. No-one i know would be upset at reaching the QF of a cup competition, especially, if you get a plumb draw against one of the big boys with a televised tie. After all, our pre season aspirations have been changed by the great start in the league, so what better chance to see how we'd match up in the PL by going head to head with a top half premier league side in the QF of a major cup? And who can say that getting to the SF or even Final would be a problem? Not me, especially after how everyone loved the JPT final only a few years ago. I'd much rather go into the Boro game top of the league with a QF tie to come, than top of the league with a taste of defeat from a continuing mediocre away record.

An error making so many changes. Great chance to reach QF of a major cup is wasted. We lose and the mentality slightly alters. -

Savings on bills will certainly be made, but there will be increased maintenance costs for the technology that will be used. But of course market factors will determine whether the costs are actually added to the sale price, or whether the poor old builder will have to take a bath. -

New build housing over the next few years will see increased use of PV panels as well as a whole range of other measures to achieve what is called "zero carbon" housing by 2016. For those that are interested, the building regs have recently changed to embrace the old Code for Sustainable Homes ratings and are set to enhance these again within a very short space of time. The same will also apply to commercial buildings, but the timeframe is slightly longer. The housebuilding industry is trying to emcompass the changes, but ultimately it will mean more cost which will either be added onto the price of a new home or a reduction in the land values. We are currently building 11 new homes that have to comply with the new Part L regulations, meaning a 25% improvement of thermal efficiency from the "old" regs. this is set to increase to 44% improvement in two years time, with zero carbon in 2016. Estimates suggest that 30 to 40k could be added to the cost of a new house (all things being equal). Would posters be prepared to pay this for a zero carbon home? -

Crikey, you're a spiky one aren't you? I was merely enquiring as to what people do to offset their carbon footprint - i think this is the correct catch all term for assessing how environmentally conscientious one is. I ask the question, because i am interested to see what is done by those who are unwavering in their conviction the world (or more correctly, the human race) will end through global warming or climate change. Allbeit through my own anecdotal research, i have been unsuprised to find that there are a great many people out there who are unwilling to sacrifice part, if not all, of their comfortable lifestyles for the good of the environment. This started off when i was lectured over dinner at a friends house, because of my choice of "gas guzzler" car. When i pointed out that the new mahogany sideboard had probably been procured from a few great specimens of Amazonian hardwood and the tiger prawns i was eating were specially flown all the way from Ecuador, it caused a slightly uncomfortable moment. However, it did inspire me to find out further how committed the more green amongst us are and how far they will go to save the planet. So far i have not found anyone who is willing to have a wholesale lifestyle change. Some make more effort to recycle, some have even jacked in one of the 2/3 cars they own, although this is probably more to do with current economic conditions. Pretty much everyone i have spoken to see's it as the duty of Government and big business to act, not the individual. It so easy for one to get upset about something one does not see as being responsible for, but isn't that just the way of things these days? -

Putting to one side the argument about whether or not the earth is getting warmer, can i ask posters what they are doing to reduce their carbon footprint? -
For me it's never been about the hours, more about how effective someone is. I've had staff whinge about how much work they have, but if they spent less time whinging to anyone who'll listen (as well as tossing it off for a couple of hours a day on facebook) and more time working, they would be able to work to decent hours. I've also had staff who will work like stink and never complain, only for them to burn out unexpectedly. I once managed someone who would breeze in at 9, leave at 4 but get twice as much done as most. I thought that was terrific, but he was seen as not pulling his weight by the guvnors, so they got rid of him, which was a real shame. If the OP is in sales, then i guess long hours can come with the territory. But like most jobs, it really comes down to the personalities of those above you in the chain in influencing your happiness and satisfaction from your role.

Hammers haven't got their front 2 working well yet and they played too deep first half which enabled us to get the ball around. Very pleased with the continued confidence the players have to knock the ball on the deck, at pace and always looking for a run or option. Not too many chances for us as they defended deeper, but it was only a matter of time. They were better 2nd half (why didn't Noble play from the start?) but we were never afraid to get in behind them on the break - think we look more threatening when attacking like this. Only trouble was after the late changes we sat too deep in the last 10, taking time to adjust to the formation change. Still, we could easily have been 3 up by then, so it's no real grumble. Superb stuff again. Very busy next 3 weeks with 5/6 games and against some good teams. Let's hope we can continue this fine form.

What do you use to clean up after masturbating?

You need to be a bettter w@nka so you don't soil your saints shirt. For heavens sake, monking all over the red and white, whatever next? And you need to get yourself a Doris, at least then you can dump it all on her side of the bed instead of messing yourself up with sticky-white love ****. -
Can't watch that. I can guess what it's like, but really don't want the images in me napper.

Will be a cracking game against a very good side. I can see it being won in midfield. If we keep the ball and frustrate them i think that will win us the game. We always seem to score, so if they play 1 up front, i can see them losing their cool and spreading play all over the place, which will suit us. Just hope the full backs remember to defend.

Not really. Your tv was damaged by someone else, so claim for it as being accidental damage. how you report it is up to you. And as flippant as it may sound, you claiming a few hundred quid for a new gogglebox is hardly going to alert SOCA to bust your back door in, is it.

Terrific result. Gives Tuesdays game a nice edge with a top two clash. Superb stuff, loving this season.

Claim for the TV on your contents insurance, surely you can give some version of the truth that will suffice.

They've been nadgers for ages. Even worse when the licences were withdrawn. Looks like they are recovering though 0.39p today. I baled out a long time ago, but still have WET, which is a ****er, if you excuse the pun.

It never ceases to amaze me that despite the examples of those who have previously fallen from high office, intelligent, rational people, still make monumental **** ups when assessing their own liabilities. He should go, just for being a ****.

What about Bournemouth? They could do with someone local who has a pedigree and can mix it at a lower level.
