  1. F**king boring unfunny pr*ck.
  2. He's ('Glasgow Saint') as funny as death. F**king boring pr*ck.
  3. Does anyone actually know where Osvaldo has gone to? I presume he's the player with "personal problems"? Was good to see Ramirez looking a) up for it and b) scoring a cracking goal!
  4. I think I must have watched at least 4 (maybe 5 now) films on exactly the same subject in recent years. Each with a different perspective, but each coming to same conclusion that the driver (forgotten his name, it wasn't Rolfe I don't think, he was the one trying to get in on it, but was a bit inept) was full of sh*t and not to be trusted. But your opinion isn't a bad one - could well be the case and why no one really knows what happened; apart from the super grass who got paid off and (presumably) given a new life elsewhere in the end. In terms of the films I've seen, all are good, but Rise of the Footsoldier is by far the best as it's the most polished with the best 'story' as it doesn't just centre around the shootings. Plus it's the only one I've watched over and over.
  5. Isn't it just an unfunny version of Bearsy's style?
  6. Half and half scarf? I do hope so, I'll be wearing my Manchester United and Liverpool one.
  7. Shut up you f*cking stupid boring skate pr*ck.
  8. What a stupid post. One is a very young goalkeeper who is learning his trade, is third choice and unluckily for us is the best we've got at the moment. The other two got us promoted and are pretty good as back-up squad players - again at the moment, we just happen to have to play both of them due to injuries which is unfortunate. Shaw is learning from Fox too, so he does have a role (see his recent interview). Some "fans" are so short-sighted.
  9. In all seriousness, would you take a few million (how much, £15m?) and Bertrand? We wouldn't be in a much worse position. Go ahead, get flaming.
  10. Really? I thought he was lightweight, gave the ball away numerous times, doesn't have the pace to close down and he doesn't look like he has the energy to do much at all. Such a shame, expected (and wanted) brilliant things from him and I'm usually over optimistic but I do feel his talent lies elsewhere - probably in Spain. He'll be great there.
  11. On a non-Saints note, what happened to Middlesbrough? I know Gibson was pumping his own money in for years when they had Juninho, Emerson, Ravenelli etc., but they now seem to be doing what everyone else is doing and being sensible. I know they get bugger all fans, but did he run out of money!?
  12. Also, Cortese doesn't try to model himself on Mr Chow from the hangover ... Mother f*ckers ...
  13. This is true. "London" has everything. It's a design centre, fashion centre, banking centre and houses the best shops (including flagship stores) in the country. I choose to live in North Hampshire and commute in daily to Oxford Street where I join the world of fashion retail. It's amazing what I see - trends are so far advanced of sleepy North Hants, not my tastes, but I'm not early 20s. Having also worked in Angel for 2 years, again, amazing part of London - very different as each part is. Better pubs, different trends, but some big companies. The rest of the world do not know, or care about the rest of the UK. I worked with a guy who came over from India. He lived in Bracknell as it was cheaper, yet when his wedding invites sent out they had his address as "Bracknell, London, England". Manchester is on the up in terms of world knowledge of its existence, but London will always be the UK's capital for many things. I wouldn't live there, but I'd hate to work anywhere else now - the buzz you get daily from going in to work and leaving to go back to the country is a great feeling. You could argue France/Paris is similar - all the companies I've worked at have offices in Paris ... But just to end, I will agree that most "Londoners" are totally unaware of what the rest of the country is like. They can't fathom I can only get 1 bus an hour and the last one is 6pm, just as an example.
  14. It is really stupid - I really hope we don't become like Spain where the managers just get recycled around the same clubs (so it seems). We need more Wenger, Moyes and Sir Alex types - but who have the luxury of boards that aren't happy to chop after 2 defeats. It's like they've never heard of teams having a bad period. It happens, it's called football.
  15. I can't believe anyone would post this utter bilge or that anyone would believe it. Therefore I'm relieved to note Bearsy's Snopes find that this was some drivel written in the US years ago. It's funny (reference to other posts), having been "on" the Internet for almost 20 years now, you get to see the same old rubbish in various forms come up time and time again; many of which were originally emails, i.e. "Forward this email to 20000 people otherwise your head will fall off". You now see the same numpties falling for it on Social Media by "sharing" something on the promise of £500 worth of Asda vouchers or something silly.
  16. Brilliant! That did actually make me laugh. Don't cry for me Tony Pulis, The truth is you managed pompey All through your dark days Now you're with us We support you Not the pompey scum
  17. But he's not is he? He is; - 21 - Learning - Our 3rd choice - Not as good as an International goalie - Not quite as good as someone with years of experience Adkins shouldn't have played him last season when he was messing around with goalies, but the guy is learning and will be okay I'm sure in years to come. But hey, it's easy to jump on the back of a 21 year old, currently 3rd choice keeper.
  18. Exactly right. They will lose a lot of benefit; here is a high-level view; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-24613217 They will be losing benefits for things that are frankly ridiculous to claim for, so giving them extra money and making them choose what they pay for rather than take all that for granted (which no else in the country is able to do) is a good thing. It might make them more accountable and realise how out of touch their benefits really are. In defence; if this was any other industry having their benefits shaken up so much, they'd on strike! I also feel that MPs are actually underpaid for the job they do - especially when most of us travelling in to work every day in the private sector earn more for far less "social responsibility".
  19. One of my personal favourites.
  20. That made me laugh too - according to this, they have one player who was eligible to play and guess what, yes, he played ... http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/fc-portsmouth/kader/verein_1020.html Thick prats.
  21. What about your f**king beard??
  22. Definitely the "geettttt itt foorrrwwaaAAAArd" Hampshire terrace managers. Without fail, you'll hear one from any part of the ground, obviously wishing they supported a Fat Sam team ... Also, why do we have so many fans that smell of wee?
  23. Thank god we never did get Stoneham. It would have been another boring, out of town stadium like many others, including Reading's. Hideous. At least now, we're "back to our roots" and able to eat and drink before/after in many places, with ease.
  24. To be fair, he came across as a nutter as he was simply too early with that idea (and Woodward). But only because football in this country was still in the full swing of 442, expensive signings and target men to some degree. I even read an article today saying how we've (as fans) been recently educated and were jeering long balls forward, so I would say it's a very recent shift.
