  1. That was f**king incredible. Couldn't make it down as I was stuck up in London, ironically in a pub full of Fulham fans, celebrated that totally unchallenged. Like their team. I like Jol, but they were awful and that was easily the best Saints performance I've seen, again, incredible.
  2. Come on, lighten up - does it really matter? It amuses me.
  3. All of them! I've worked with and for Americans for too long now ... annual leave still bugs me and I refuse to acknowledge it. One of my team sent me a request for their "annual leave", I declined and told them to ask properly. I'm hilarious. I've started saying "reach out to" and "loop in" too much as well.
  4. Same, I started going in 1992, stopped by 1996 as it was horribly cheesy and it started to feel less loved up.
  5. Palace look horrible, really bad. It's not the best football from either team, despite two very nice goals from Fulham.
  6. I can see an unsettled player or two at Arsenal, they are spoilt for choice ... Özil, Wilshere, Ramsay, Cazorla, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain - just to name a few. But we won't get any of them, we're still not Chelsea, Liverpool, City or United in terms of pulling power.
  7. Agreed, they were fairly tolerant! The Guly chant did make me chuckle.
  8. I actually just thought he was unlucky today. He has some class touches and he did try hard, but he was unlucky in some of his touches today.
  9. My advice would be to stop posting ******** on the internet; "Can't stand it anymore. Need a new job. Today was the final straw" is one of many, available to he public, that you've written. I'm really not surprised she has beef with you to be honest. Delete everything you've written, stop swearing and don't talk about how bad your job is ... it's a job, be thankful you (still) have one.
  10. It's a very good read. It's so obvious he's the "Secret Footballer", have I missed that announcement?
  11. Does she have solid evidence that you aren't delivering in your job? Do you meet your call KPIs? (I presume %age calls answered in so many seconds, AHT etc etc) If not, she just doesn't like team spirit ... If she does, knuckle down and get on with the job.
  12. Same when I saw him play for the U21s. Berahino and Redmond were both far better ... On another note, am I getting old or does Moyes' daughter look about 12!?
  13. Agreed. If I had the money I'd love to open up some proper rivals that were not for profit to wipe those companies out. Bring on the Euromillions
  14. I would love no sponsor, as per our 125th anniversary kit, OR, a charity. Saints Foundation perhaps? My job is about driving up incremental revenue, but for this it's one thing I think (with the improved TV deals) that Saints can be more romantic and give a bit back.
  15. I do think it's quite a lot, but to be honest, what isn't these days? You want two tickets to a good show in the West End ... £220+ Two tickets to something at the Mayflower ... £100ish Two cinema tickets cost me in excess of £20 Quick meal out for two in our local Italian cost me over £100 That doesn't include train, petrol, food, drink etc etc etc. I paid £120 for two for Palace (inc. some food, drink, travel), £200 for two for Swansea (inc. food, drink, petrol) and Man Utd will cost about £400. We've got a trip up the Shard (a present) to do. Train to London (although my season makes it free for me) and the inevitable food and drink will no doubt cost loads. Everything is bloody expensive. So my point is that I think people really are picking and choosing more than ever now. 2 matches a month, or 1 match and a meal out etc.
  16. Page 28 - Overview? The prices are there!! Cat C - Lounge £145+VAT, Suite £120+VAT, Bar £60+VAT
  17. Why don't you look on the club website? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/documents/61210-hospo-brochure-new-web148-869934.PDF
  18. Oh well. If he plays like he did today, I could play in his position.
  19. That it was ... we've been like a f*cking library so far, but that was much better. On another note, Fox was horrible today. Sorry Mr Fantastic Mr Fox, great back up you may be, but you were sh*te today. Again. You were out paced by your man, you didn't tackle, you didn't track back. I wanted your position.
  20. Load of arse. Great goal, I was still jumping around like a c*nt in front of Wanyama when Jrod came over to tell him it wasn't a goal.
  21. He clearly doesn't know what he's talking about, clueless, utterly clueless. How many does he get right? We're so much better than he gives us credit for, he must really hate Saints.
  22. What's the point of it?
  23. But they aren't in Southampton though ... ?? It makes me laugh when people say "where is nice to eat in Southampton" and someone answers with Limewood. Personally I don't get the fuss anymore with top end places - I'd far rather sit in a nice Italian or really good pub with nice very well cooked food and a nice, relaxed atmosphere with well cooked, good quality meat. And somewhere I can get nice wine. I like South Western House for that reason (and it's IN Southampton) - nice atmosphere, good food, good wine - not over the top. As nice as Limewood is, I'm not sure I'd rush back - last ate there last Christmas day - was good, but not as relaxing as I'd hoped. I do prefer the TerraVina to Limewood - little more relaxed.
  24. It's trendy. Look at the amount of goals scored last weekend by a long ball from the Goalkeeper ... quite a few. Bang, straight down the middle (hoofball!?), striker splits the defence and scores. There were at least 3 I can think of. Turkish is right ... the "get it fooorrrwwwarrrddd" terrace managers will love it!
