Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

I hope we try and take care of our youngsters leaving. The fact that Will Wood signed for Accrington immediately shows that none of all this will have been a surprise to the players and there's obviously been talking behind the scenes to allow it to happen so quickly. Hopefully they've learnt good habits at Saints that will stand them in good stead later in their careers. -
Is that design available in an adhesive sticker form?

That's a bit Captain Sensible, Barry!
-
Looks like you're safe then!
-
No problem, as long as you don't mind a kick in the balls.* *If I'm having a good day. Otherwise it'll be your cruciates.
-
Well, our keeper Laura wouldn't have let in those two goals although she probably wouldn't have held and just parried the second. It would keep our genuine grass roots club in funds for centuries!
-
Cheers Lazlo. Is he on standby in case of injuries?

This is about it for me. Looked a bit like a judo throw from where I was. But looking at their pedestrian midfield and how few passes they made in comparison to RM it's hardly surprising. More surprising is the position they managed in the league.

You remind me of the humanity of Phil Neville at the recent women's international at St. Mary's when the Welsh forward went down with bad cramp just in front of him and he rushed on to the pitch to stretch her leg. The ref told him off (with a smile), but it was an entirely natural response and not done for the cameras.

Nordic, we're having fun close-season imaginings.. A plate of sorpressa, a glass of wine, a mooch round a palladian villa. It's all a bit of fun.
-
Brilliant. Never been there myself but I could put on weight there! Don't forget to try the grappa.. There's a lovely traditional/alpino song called 'Sul Ponte di Bassano' which I could sing after a few wines and the right company!

You don't seem to appreciate it's _how_ players move. Mane doesn't get stick (even though it was perfectly obvious he used us as a stepping stone), nor does Clyne, or Schneiderlin or Wanyama, all players we really miss. If you don't understand _why_ that is I suggest you do a bit of research before posting on here. Most of us here are pretty realistic about our position in the pecking order of clubs and the finances involved...

Just back from a crowded pub, fewer pints and less stressed than when I watch Saints but still enough. Observations: 1. Golly, there were quite a few ex-Saints players in that game, weren't there? 2. Who'd be a keeper? Plenty of us on here have probably played in that position, some when forced to. We may have done a better job tonight.. 3. Renew McCarthy's contract quickly! 4. I'm not going to look at the thesaurus but... chortle, snort, hah, snig ger, smirk, LOL...

I think CWD's question highlights the issue, but Moisin is too in emphasising the contribution he actually made this season, and getting 3 goals in a side made chronically constipated by MP2. To which I'd add a third reason not to sell him: who could we possibly afford to replace him and _all_ his attributes. Boufal, for example, is much more skilful and pacier but doesn't actually produce and can't be relied on in the same way. I'd like to see how the team performs next season, and in a more positive context, how JWP performs. Mind you, that applies to all of the players, and I'm allowing my optimism a slightly freer rein now.

Well, that should keep the weekend press interested. They need some fillers apart from the Championship final..
-
More like a Chinese saying 'pray lets us not live in interesting times': that version of interesting..
-
Or maybe just to quite a few decimal places... I only came on the board to check on Hughes news, and oh gawd, I ventured on here..

Or even the Muppet show? Mods?

Cheers! Actually eating cats was so widespread in Italy later, during the second world war, that Mussolini issued a decree about it, for fear of a plague of mice!
-
I think he means £109,000.
-
The Vicentini are sometime nicknamed 'magnagati" or 'mangiagatti" from their ostensible prediliction for eating cats..

I'll probably renew at the last moment, partly because it just misses a credit card statement date but mainly because I want their bums tweaking regarding poor renewals as they've so been taking us for granted.
