Me too as I posted so many times I bored everyone to death.
ps if we beat Leeds 8-0 I will eat the Itchen Bridge
pps another win/clean sheet without Davis. Not a coincidence.
Beat Walsall away and it's like we have won the world cup. I'm jolly happy but blimey guys! Talk of winning the league? Still, my bet would come in too...
These things happen. Sad, and he could have been really good for us for many years. However, I still think it was criminal for he who-must-not-be-named to have gambled on him recovering and therefore never signing a replacement. I think this culture has pervaded at the club, and cost us dear over the years only to have recently evaporated with the onset of a wealthy owner. Thanks for trying so hard Michael and good luck back in Sweden.
Brighton - never recovered from Jaidi deciding to try and raise his ageing leg to stop that cross rather than a simple header away. Midfield overrun. They played well to impress new jug eared manager. Davis in goal to increase hesitancy/stasis in gap between defence and keeper, which all managers now know about. They exploited this too.
Still, AP's style - if it is his only one - is working ok, I'd say. Would still like to see new central defender and back up keeper or replacement for Bart.
Oh come on, join the real world, purrrlease. I suspect it's more about the player's ambition than money, and also strongly doubt anyway whether we would offer him Prem wages. We'll see soon enough, I guess. Fulham would be my bet.
