Glenda did grate a bit, he said something all positive sounding surrounding prep for his WC in management which left you thinking as a Saints fan "yes but the most feared midfielder in the land spanked in a hat trick in such a weighing up your options game and you left him out in the cold".
-
I think you enjoyed writing that........ As always the best Saints match reports on the planet.

Thought Steklenburg dealt with the situation very well, as soon as he realised that Falcao was going quicker than he thought and then had pushed the ball wide, while still sliding on his side he knew the tart was going to drag a leg and hit the deck so he pulled everything he could that might make contact out of the way.............. Cheat exposed.

I think the comment about Spurs and their frittering away of the Bale money on tat, probably didn't help his cause either. Maybe it's Advocaat, leaves Sunderland because they are a bit hard work, turns down any contract ending monies because Liverpool have already agreed a golden hello.

And that children is why you don't base all your research for your homework on Wikipedia.

Whats been our best result since being promoted?
John Boy Saint replied to CumbrianSaint's topic in The Saints
I think the City game where we went into it as cannon fodder and had all those mega bucks players looking at each other, and the manager, 1st half not knowing what to do as we hit them with a tornado, Gareth Barry getting sucked right up in the funnel with a lovely finish. That thought brought a smile to my face as standing on the concourse chatting with friends pre match someone asked A general question of what the result would be, when 2 of us said we would win everyone looked at us like we had just come out of the funny farm. Sunderland was special as they were beaten but we kept our foot on their throat and ripped them apart, just like Villa, yesterday was very good in a similar way, they are in a dark place right now and we ruthlessly exploited that without mercy. -
Sorry Whitey the bloke had absolute stinker, Ramirez taking 4 goes to get a card despite trashing Saints players with vigour twice in his opening contacts, Romeu clips Hazard early on as he has done him for speed covering defender in place, bang in the book instead of a polite word. His performance can summed up by Pelle making a solid defensive block on Hazard in the middle of a skirmish of players goes down like he has been taken out by a sniper in the floodlights yet again, ref books Graziano yet he hasn't had to have one single word with him for 80 minutes about fouling anyone. I think when he got home to his wife for tea he probably told her that he had a bad day at the office, when she asked. (And that ungrateful whatsit still had the temerity to criticise him post match).

Post-Match Reaction: Chelsea 1-3 SAINTS
John Boy Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Errrrrr Where is JWP? He put in a cracking shift second half. -
Come on folks it's an FA directive Chelsea need to be in the top table mix to make the product work.

Still a bit strange that they are flapping about down in the bottom half 8 games in, especially as they have pretty much the same high quality players they did last season, you would expect them to be in the top half by now. Ok they are only a point behind us but, ignoring the Guardian piece, something is awry with them and has become worse since the Eva Canavaro kerfuffle....... I would like to think that as a team we are in a better place than them, and if we lose far better equipped as a team and fans to handle the disappointment than they would be if we win especially on the eve of a 2 week break.

Not so sure, you have already commented that he will see red soon and this game has the potential to be the one as he might be of the mindset "look what you let go". He hasn't quite mastered the art of battering someone off the ball with the finesse of Victor which the Koemans might viewas a liability.

Wouldn't worry too much Part time Gibbs has that position sewn up tight in the absence of Shaw and Baines , and not forgetting winkle Jones is ahead of Ryan too.

Well they obviously needed help to find another song aside from that 104 points cobblers they have on repeat (well however many points it is)

Which other club (or clubs) do you follow?
John Boy Saint replied to Professor's topic in The Saints
Bury due to cousins being ST holders at Gigg Lane......... Pretty sure I got dragged along there by one of them donkeys yonks ago when I was in short trousers. -
To continue the interlude.......... While he is looking up, yes you are correct we will return to 3 places not 4, I think it will be the year after next if the 4 current stumble bums don't get out of the group stage........ The Macaronis have the closest points tally so if the Italian teams make further progress than the English that 4th place become very much under threat. What will be interesting is what will happen to the usual suspects who inhabit the top 4, their turnover is very reliant on the CL riches.

1 Decorate the concourses as they feel like you have stepped back in time to 1970's concrete drabness. 2 buy and develop the sand works include a super bar with rapid match day service, with good quick food upstairs. 3 Bring back a Women's football team 4 Get Bose or Sonos and acoustic experts in to improve the PA 5 Buy the full allocation of away tickets provide free travel any unsold tickets give them to schools and local football teams. And put a banning order in place on anyone with the temerity to criticise the club badge, and seek a court order to make them go and watch p*rtsm*uth for a season. In all the years of its existence I am yet to hear a derogatory comment about it from any other teams supporters, or anyone for that matter aside from a few precious souls on here. In these times of brand awareness and the need for off field income why would we want to change something that is instantly recognisable and established to step back beyond the 1970's to something that dilutes the brand awareness and income. Cortese for all his faults had a business mind, because he didn't like stripes he made the controversial effort to wean us off them, but aside from the 125 year tinker and the Silver and Gold versions, if he thought the branding was that bad he would have gone after that at the same time. Look at Leeds they have changed their badge countless times on a whim, and become a bobbins club in the process.

I finks that sums of yous is smokin funny faggs, what wiv finking ramirez will sitted on the bench. (was that a bit too much for correction?).
-
Sorry Whitey I was referring to the Crackerjack pass v Man Utd into Mané who volleyed it only to be blocked by De Gea for Pelle to tidy up. Saturday for Virgil again the ball was hit hard and exactly where they had practised hitting it to in training.

He hadn't hit the the back of the net for us until RK turned up as the boss, if memory serves me right?...................... slipped the shonky shooting into SD's locker in the process!

Strange I seem to recall a cracking pin point ball into the box did the trick last Sunday afternoon to open the scoring. JWP could score a hatrick in the next 2 games and still get slagged off................... on the flip side Jose is increasingly looking wobbly compared to last year and will do a Yoshida (from last week) pretty much every week yet no one says a word. The sooner some folks realise that smashing your 3 year old kid everytime on FIFA 16 has no relation to real life Football the better. Hope Clasie doesn't stutter when he eventually puts in an appearance......................... It will be like Christmas Eve in the Turkey shed on here if he does.

Harrison Reed - Official: Signs for Fulham
John Boy Saint replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
If the tales about his being out on the razzle dazzle are true, then someone in the academy, perhaps, LR and RK need to have a sensible chat with him as he is probably flirting with going off the rails. Young man played a few times in the first team and acquitted himself well yet doesn't seem to be able to grab a regular position. It must be pretty frustrating and a recipe for a "whats the point attitude". Be a shame to let a nipper like that, who has never looked phased or out of place in the 1st team games he has been tossed into, just fizzle out. -
Think the steady cam cameraman needs the loo, he can't stand still. make you sea sick if he keeps it up:D

Fool!!! You just added another 3 pages to a thread full of folks with their knickers in a twist!!!

Cheers for posting that as i was curious, about the Visa procedure where none EU euro games were concerned had we stumbled that far. The thought of Scousers and finger prints was amusing.
