  1. I don't think he sees it as getting a decent return on his investment.
  2. So where were the protests from the fans when the Gaydamaks bought into the football club? You know the ones, the gunner runner and his son using his inheritence, turning good businesses into bad. How come the fans were not worried that: the debt was being levied to the club and not taken up by the owner? the accounts showed an unsustainable level of spending? wages were the sixth highest in the league? You were too busy enjoying being bought off with star players and dreams of a new stadium... ahh the good times.
  3. I think you should have spoken about it in her language - shopping! Say that if she had a new credit card with a huge limit and she decided to get the bag of her dreams now even though it would cost ten times more on credit. She then finds out the credit has ran out but she still has the bag and is doing nothing to reduce the debt.
  4. boo, walsall down to 10 men and penalty to udders
  5. I was expecting that reply but still laughed (does that make me bad?) JM, Perhaps you could phone round the scrap merchants for a replacement clutch, that may bring the price down a bit.
  6. housemaid (I think you have some issues to address btf ;-) )
  7. I think they can afford to do it, however it means a change in their lifestyle which it seems they are unwilling to compromise on. The choice is still there... have the second car or another few kids?
  8. You raise an interesting point so why not start another thread rather than "whinging" about it on here?
  9. AA has stated in the media that Chainrai is looking to get his investment back and will only be paid that amount and no more. Of course it's only talk, but at least it's been stated so if Chainrai is paid more, I'm sure that will add to the evidence (debt risen to £100m) against AA not being a competent administrator and lead to possible legal wranglings regarding the CVA (well it did happened with Leeds).
  10. 'It cost too much to carrying on working as we were actually better off unemployed,' said Mr Davey. There we go in a nutshell. Also ,to think things as mobile phones, sky and the like are necessities rather than luxuries are wrong. In principle, I have nothing against giving benefits to those that need it, but I do feel anyone who does receive them should do something in return be it low paid/voluntary/community work.
  11. establishment
  12. LOL. Only to be lifted when teams could trade in the transfer window. If you were a Bournemouth fan, I would agree.
  13. I seemed to have irratated a skate with a rather low IQ on there!
  14. Would have been happier if Colchester drew against Swindon as both they and Huddersfield have a decent chance to gain two wins and a draw in last five games to snatch sixth place as I cannot see us winning all our remaing six games.
  15. Umm? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZecViQxUwss I've seen Jim Furyk's swing, now that's unorthodox!
