Yes agree, my group were talking about the possibility of the Arsenal game moving at Newcastle last weekend. My only surprise really was that there wasn't any mention of the possibility when the Monday fixture was announced something like " Please note that if Arsenal are away in Europe then this game will move to Sunday" like we have had previously.

No it didn't. In fact i thought it was the lowest we've taken to Burnley for a standard 3pm kick off.

Not sure we will have money to spend - we will lose upwards of £15 million in prize money alone compared to last season. I'm also not convinced we will sign him if we do somehow stay up - guess we will find out by august 9th. No idea why you would think Eddie howe would leave Bournemouth to come to Saints.

Cup win. We have won one cup in over 130 years of trying. We have played top flight football for near on 50 of those 130 odd years. You get rememberd by winning things not finishing midtable in the top league..

looks the correct descion by the club not to take our full 15% allocation for this.

We must have only asked for the smaller allocation. Not surprising really as we play them on Saturday and not sold out yet

Agree with this. There is no evidence we will pick up enough points from the next 14 games to get us out of the bottom 3. We couldn't beat Huddersfield and Palace at home and Watford away all sides who you would call are our relegation rivals.

Yes agree. He comes in for some unfair criticism, both on here and at actual matches in my opinion. I read somewhere that he has been involved , either assisting or scoring over 40 goals in his time with us. Not bad.

Yep agree. Unfortunately there is no evidence we are going to win many more games this season or even get enough points to stay up. In fact it wouldn't totally surprise me if we finished bottom.

My view is this kid was just that a kid who took a gamble that we would sign a player this week. Another bull****ter who pretended to be "ITK" "all agreed" he or she said "will be announced this week". like you said why haven't we signed him yet if it was all agreed?

Is this the player our so call ITK expert mentioned on another thread . The one where he was at the Huddersfield game and all the terms had been agreed and would be announced this week ? Or was the ITK expert just bull ****ting and taking a gamble we would sign somebody this week ?

When are you in a relegation battle and when are you not? When you are in the bottom 3? when you are a point above? 2 points above 3? At the end of the day Saints are one of a number of clubs that could go down, We are currently averaging a point a game, a few games ago it was more lose today and it will be less win and it will be more. A bad run between now and the end of the season and we could go down, a good run and another top 10 finish could be possible. Personally with the teams we have played, the amount of home games we have played and who we have played at home 18 points form 18 games is poor and I cant think anybody would have predicted it at the beginning of the season.

Without doubt Koeman was a fantastic manager for us He did however, despite all the sales in the summer of 2014 inherit the bases of a good squad. We still had Yoshida, Fonte and Clyne at the back, he brought in Forstr, Toby Alderweireld and Ryan Bertrand all fantastic signings at the time. We also signed Gardos! The midfield was arguably one of the best we have had Scheniederlin, Wanyama, Davis, Ward-Proswe and Cork. Attacking wise we had an injured Jay rod, a young Sam Gallager and Mayuka (yes i know he was ****) He brought in Pelle, tadic, Long and Mane who all again were fantastic players for us.(I know Tadic gets a lot of stick but personally with the right players around him he's still a great player). We signed a couple of players in January Elia and Durjic on loan. In his 2nd season again we had a solid squad. We sold Clyne, Scheniederlin. Toby didn't renew his loan and Forster was injured. We got in Stekelnburg, Cedric, Van Dijk, Clasie, Romeu all good signings(Personally I thought Clasie done ok) We also signed Martina and Juanmi. In January Cork left and Austin came in. I'm not so sure this squad of players are as strong as the squad Koeman had in his 2 season here and not convinced he would be able to sign the players he make think are required to improve us, but i do think he would get better out of the current squad than Pellegrino has so far. Like all managers there are always rumours that certain players didn't get on with him.

Which was closed on match days when when it 1st opened a couple of years ago. Has this now changed?
