  1. Thank **** we rested our players for the cup game at Sunderland - since then played 2 lost 2 goals for 1 against 6.
  2. When was the last time Saints reached the FA Cup final and when was the last time Saints finished 8th in the premier league?
  3. Strange , finish above Man U and that could get the 'dreaded' Europa league place. If Man city win the league cup and the fa cup final is Arsenal/Liverpool v man city then 7 th would get a place in Europe . What will we do for the final league game then......
  4. I would love it if no Saints fans attended our next cup game and hit the club where it hurts. As soon as the team was announced I was ****ing fuming, thought to be honest it wasn't a surprise, so glad my head ruled my heart today and stayed at home. Feel sorry for every Saints fan that spent time and money that went to Sunderland today the club really should reimburse them. Still ****ing fuming with the management teams policy the ****ing ******s.
  5. well at least we can now focus on finishing mid table in the league. Great ....

  7. Ok I have 1 spare adult ticket in the away section £35
  8. Yep, and tickets were on sale for a few days as well so no excuses for anybody who did not get one.
  9. Cheaper than a league game maybe, just. Can see them being around £25
  10. To be honest, with over a week to go and a home game on Saturday, that's not too bad at £18 a pop. I wonder attendance the club think is acceptable at the prices they are charging, over 10K? could well get that.
  11. With our current squad, with no additions, bottom half.
  12. Manchester to wigan is 4.10 return http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/Manchester/Wigan/020213/1245/dep/020213/1745/dep
  13. It was not exactly hard to get a ticket, the game was on general sale for over a week and prior to that had been on "linked" sale for over 3 weeks.
  14. I wonder where our missing 10,000 or so fans went to watch premier football during our 7 years of lower league football? Or even football fans, not Saints fans, who live in Southampton where did /do they go to watch premier football. wonder where the coaches left from in town?
  15. It makes me laugh when some go o about taking 50,000 to the paint pot. I know of a Palace (and he goes to see them 10/15 times a season) and a QPR fan who both went just for the crack. And then there were the 4 teenage “fans” sat in front who were on their mobile phones the whole game.
  16. Because some people actually think that these drawings are going to happen / should happen now. In their world we are as big as Everton, Aston Villa and are the club most neutrals in the whole of England would come and watch.
  17. Agree about the balloot system. When the club have about 5,000 matchday tickets to sell and 10,000 apply for the majority of league games then the we should consider expanding the stadium. We are a long long way of that level of support now.
  18. **** me what information do you need? What makes a big club? Trophy’s – European cups? League titles? FA Cups? League Cups? Paint pot? Historical attendances? No. of years playing top flight football? No. of seasons competing in European competitions?
  19. Not to some on here they wern't.
  20. Did we not get to the play-offs in 2007?
  21. So when was the 1st time we were in the prem? how many seasons were "bad times"?
  22. Oh, thats plan A aswell. Looks like we are in the **** then.
  23. ****ing hell, you telling somebody to "move on". That is ****ing funny.
  24. **** me, you and think = wrong.
  25. At the beginning of the season we were playing some of the best football I’ve seen a Saints side play, creating lots of good chances and goals were coming from all round the team. Now we seem to play the ball out wide to our full backs to lob it into the box for lambert to either head towards goal or head back across goal. It’s a tactic that has worked well in the past, now against better teams it’s getting too predictable. More worryingly the goals from around the team have dried up a little. Only getting 4 points from Blackpoll away, Portsmouth home, Palace away and Reading home is poo. At the same time Reading have picked up 12 points from West Ham away, Leeds home, Brighton away and Saints away arguably a lot harder set of fixtures. Congratulations Reading worthy Champions.
