Can't judge the guy on the arsenal game, just a bad day at he office for everyone - an arsenal fan mate went to the game and said we just didn't turn up in the first half but were much much better in the second. Hvaing said all that I think it's too much pressure on him, he needs to be allowed to develop his game in the prem before taking on captaincy. As well as defenders, we should have signed an experienced midfield general and made him captain - the club is in danger of believing it's own hype.

fonte looked out of his depth last season when we played against decent strikers, so he's going to get ripped to shreds this time (the man u game could be horrible). A palace supporting mate laughed when I told him JF was still a first choice CB. I reckon we need 3 CBs - I'm amazed we haven't seemingly prioritised sorting ourselves out with a decent defence over buying up more strikers. Oh well, in nige we trust.......

agree this would be a good signing - our midfield is good for championship but prem league whole other story. outside of davis, morgan and cork at a push we have very little. i'm a bit worried there is very little movement in the market from us looking for new CBs

get everyone to write down something others might not know about them, put them in a pot and then try and guess who did what. play fetish and phobia - everyone writes down something they love doing and then something they hate and talks about it. Sounds shyte but is actually quite funny. or start the meeting by letting everyone have a good old moan about the company (being sales people they'll be good at this) for 30 mins - write it all down then put it away.

Sorry but I agree with pap - Davis is definitely my bet. New team, new era - makes sense and in some ways it's blindingly obvious. Adam and Morgan way too young and Davis has plenty of captain experience plus he's also played in the prem. In some ways it'll be easier for adkins to create a new team environment with him as skipper. Striker or goalies as capt doesn't work and why on earth would you burden RL with leading the team when he should focus everything on scoring goals. I bet it won't be someone who was at the club last season.
