Special squad this, loving it! GTFI!

Bollocks to the reserve, on recent form it's clearly going to be top 7 and FA Cup winners. Liverpool in the final with Broja and Che running Virgil ragged and Salisu looking like a Klippity bargain at £100M - COYR!

Agree with this, Spurs are a particular type of short-sighted basket case. There is a big element in the current set up at Saints that things have been built around Hassenhutl, and right now this Is paying off. But it’s taken several seasons, enormous patience from the board and supporters, and assembling a group of players that are willing to work to a gruelling system and for one another. It is great to see. If he goes to one of the traditional ‘big clubs’ finding the required level of patience and commitment is highly unlikely, and it ends in Ralph’s stock through the floor. It would be lovely to buck the trend and see RH at Southampton for a decade, see just how far things can go, but in top level football these days ego and cash always seem to trumps calls to logic and loyalty. We won the cup in 1976 with a manager that had a series of rocky seasons before finding his feet and the right pieces of the jigsaw, and the decade that followed was superb for the fans and city - I want Hassenhutl to do that for the current generation and put himself in aspic as a Saint regardless of how long he stays.

It would have taken Les convincing Bale back to come back on a free under Sparky to fully mitigate Guidodinio

If anyone has kept hold of a copy of NikNak's 'Our Future?' DVD it would be a good time to send it to Dragan Solak as he's probably upbeat and ready to spunk £30 million on the Chapel after recent results - https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/9771448.saints-to-revamp-st-marys/ Personally I would turn the Fanzone back into a car park and the gasholders into luxury apartments with a rising penthouse viewing platform to be inflated with eco-gas on matchdays - otherwise 32K is about right as we will never have the population of a Bristol or Bradford, per se.

Great point in a great week. Saints more likely to win in the last 30mins. This developing young team only one defeat in last 12 games. Fair play to the travelling support as well, bloody magnificent today!

I'm relieved that we didn't get Bale as the statement signing in January now. Welcome nipper!
-
Still well in this and seem well up for it. Keep up workrate, rub of the green and some superstar / franchise fans complacency and we might get something. COYR!

1-2 (Adams, Broja), Ralph on his knees after Che's screamer, Oriol and JWP applied shithousing masterclass.
-
Absolutely brilliant Saints - a memorable win, and now looking a very good side. Get the f**k in!
-
Williams was brilliant, fiercely competitive, thoroughly modern complete midfielder - travesty that he didn't get 50 England caps, just like MLT a decade later. When you watched him week in week out you knew that this was something special. Ended up binge-listening these podcasts last night. Great content, genuinely funny and refreshing. Like holding court with like-minded fans in a decent pub in the 1990s

Great stuff, thanks ES!

Like re-tiling the roof of a public toilet.

Shit on the Villa! Always nice at any level...

It's primarily because we use less paper for player contracts than other clubs. After winning this award I hope that the club look to greenwash the Fanzone area at the side of the stadium. Superficial landscaping, but it currently looks like a post leak visitor centre at Chernobyl. ALDI currently have some big pot plants and bark chippings on offer. Come on you red and green machine...

Hopefully Oriol can become the Spanish Jimmy Case, our rock of Gibraltar. He had the fabulously price-tagged Jacqueline Squeamish en su bolsillo, all game.
-
Bloody great first half Southampton and we should be two nil up one way or the other. Walker-Peters, Salisu, Broja and Perraud have been excellent, the latter a right little terrier against the flailing Sterling. Would love to beat these bastards, their officials, and commentary team! COYR!

Guilt by association aimed at a person who is unable to corroborate or defend is never a good approach. I would assume that this story, is simply that. However, if the powers that be decide to haul down Ted and throw him off Shamrock Quay, we need a public vote on a replacement. Les Reed or Lee Todd would be popular choices I expect.

You cross this line, you die... You cross this line, you die... You cross this line, you die...
-
Great stuff - it's getting like Redknapp with Saints in 2005, but with an unlimited budget. Fellani is currently at the mighty Shandong Luneng, hopefully they'll want £30M. Howay [out of the Prem] the lads...
-
Reckon 0-2 or 1-2, up to 27 points and 10th place (would be very nice).
-
Good for him. I recall he was a big unit, would likely suit the Turkish league.
-
Should have known that the lead singer of Suede was a skate...
-
Leon Brittain - cleared of all charges. Didn’t know he played for Swansea.
-
Swansea doing their best to even up the numbers with the Sunday league challenges. Hopefully one of theirs gets sent off early second half.
